She has also just slammed her racquet down on her chair. She is muttering and gesturing at her coaching box.

Centre Court gets to their feet to cheer Alexandra Eala after that. Big, brave hitting in the final few points. Just superb.

Fortune favours the brave!

Alexandra Eala was the one going after her serve and after her shots there. She had a willingness to come forward under pressure, which shows a lot of character.

That is probably the best set of tennis I've seen on Centre Court all year.

Finally! That’s exactly what Arthur Fery needed to inject a little bit of energy into the crowd.

It had all been a bit flat, but the “here comes the Fery” chant comes out again and it’s now followed with a long, drawn out “ooooh”.

Alexandra Eala sees another set point disappear.

She just clips the line with backhand to earn it but then dumps one into the net on the Iga Swiatek serve.

Swiatek keeps going and brings up her second set point.

It wasn't pretty but Arthur Fery shows he still has some fight left as he battles to his first hold of the match.

How much has that service game taken out of him though?

Zizou Bergs comes to meet another Arthur Fery drop shot but this time he returns into the net.

In his first couple of rounds, Fery was taking charge of the rallies. So far today, that has not been the case.

Another Iga Swiatek backhand but this one is plunked into the net. Set point comes and goes for the defending champ.
