Mevdevev is looking very serious right now. It's been pretty straightforward, he's very calm, cool and collected. He's usually chirping at his box but not here, he looks very in control of his emotions.

There were quite a few second serve opportunities in that game. The drop shot is one of the very few tactics that has brought some success for Arthur Rinderknech, and he reverted back to it right there.

That is exactly what he needed after going two sets to love down.

    *Rinderknech 5-7 4-6 2-0 Djokovic

Hello... Arthur Rinderknech gets a couple of break points as Novak Djokovic slides a forehand cross court and wide.

On the second of them, Rinderknech brings Djokovic into the net with a drop shot and the Serb can't get it back over to the Frenchman's side.

A glimmer of hope for the 25th seed.

    Hmmmm.

A hold to love for Jannik Sinner.

That has to be so demoralising for Jenson Brooksby when he had to work so hard to get his hold in the previous game.

  14. 'Match-up in every area in favour of Djokovic'published at 15:32 BST 3 July

It is very difficult with the tools that Arthur Rinderknech has to really make an impact on Novak Djokovic. The match-up in every area is in favour of his opponent.

From the back of the court, can he take more risks? He can, he can go harder and try to go close to the line but that will probably incur more unforced errors.

This is the first time they have played, but it is evident this isn't a good match-up for the Frenchman.

Arthur Rinderknech starts the third set with a routine hold.

Brooksby has got a few tricks up his sleeve. He has a double-handed slice, it's like a woodchopper. Very unusual.
