  1. Three break points for Safiullinpublished at 16:09 BST 5 July

Well, a forehand winner ripped down the line followed by a backhand powered cross-court suggests Roman Safiullin still has it in him to go on the attack and play his shots.

0-30 on the Novak Djokovic serve.

Hang on, make that 0-40. Three break points.

This looks to be quite intensive work Roman Safiullin is having as he lays sprawled out on the grass.

A serious hip injury sidelined him for six months following last year's US Open, and those tough times are the reason why he was so emotional following his victory over Joao Fonseca.

Hopefully there's no recurrence of that issue, but that does seem to be the problem area.

He's had an exhausting run to get here, coming through three consecutive five-set matches since the final qualifying round before stunning Fonseca two days ago. That was always going to take its toll.

Roman Safiullin has got his trainer out. Let's see what he's got to say...

When was the last day of the qualifiers? Thursday. So he had three days rest before the start of the main draw, but his first two rounds did go long.

It's a medical timeout for Roman Safiullin so we'll have a bit of a delay on Centre.

He's currently lying on his back with a towel over his head.

Roman Safiullin has just asked for his trainer to be called down. It seemed like he was gesturing to his left hip or left hip flexor.

Roman Safiullin goes up 40-15 but then walks up the umpire and calls for the trainer.

He has to finish off the game first and should do on the next point. However, he fails to put Novak Djokovic away, loses the point and in a flash it's deuce.

The qualifier just about gets the hold, he can now speak to the trainer and get a bit of treatment, while Djokovic is very unhappy once again as well.

Centre Court isn't the happiest place in the world right now, it seems!

That's a shocking game at any stage.

Just when you hear Novak Djokovic getting a bit frustrated, you don't want to give him any cheap points, but Roman Safiullin found himself immediately down 0-40 on serve.

Novak Djokovic was waving his arms in frustration after handing over the break point to Roman Safiullin.

For a moment, it looked as though he was considering hammering a ball into the wall after he nets to hand Safiullin the advantage in set three.

There is still a warning for the Serb after he fails to completely hide his emotions.

But, just when Safiullin was beginning to think Djokovic might be starting to get a bit hot and bothered, that gift of a game will surely improve his mood a smidge.

Just as Novak Djokovic was getting very annoyed with himself, Roman Safiullin lets him calm down with a really poor service game.

The Russian was so sloppy to gift Djokovic break points and the last point sums it up.

Coming it to reach a drop shot from Djokovic, Safiullin somehow misses the Serb advances and tries a drop shot of his own.

Easily lobbed over him by the 39-year-old and it's the immediate break back.

It's all square in the battle between Czech rivals Karolina Muchova and Barbora Krejcikova on court two.

10th seed Muchova was up a set and a break at 5-3 but Krejcikova hit back and broke again for 6-5 before serving out the set.

    Brilliant shot from Roman Safiullin.

On the run, he hits a forehand flat, down the line for a winner. A moment of real quality but he's not been able to put them together since the start of that first set.

However, Novak Djokovic offers him a break point when he fires a forehand long before unleashing his frustration at the elements - he's blaming the wind for that one.

And now the 24-time Grand Slam champion dumps one into the net - a break to start the third set for Safiullin and a warning for Djokovic after another angry outburst.

It's not looking good for British pair Marcus Willis and Heather Watson over on court three.

They have just lost the opening set 6-2 against American-Chinese partners Christian Harrison and Zhang Shuai.

Willis and Watson were broken three times and need to find some rhythm in the second if they are to reach the third round.

Over on court 12, Briton Lloyd Glasspool and Slovakian partner Tereza Mihalikova are also looking to mount a fightback after losing the opening set 6-3 against French-German pair Edouard Roger-Vasselin and Laura Siegemund.

A couple of really nice shots from Roman Safiullin as he holds to start the third set.

After whipping a passing shot cross-court past Novak Djokovic, he wraps up the game with a perfectly weighted lob that the Serb can only stand and admire.

We need to reiterate how unbelievably unheard of this is.

To see a guy at this age and at this level, after all Novak Djokovic has put his body through, still being able to play as well as this is pretty miraculous.

I would like to know, the ball that the players put up their shorts/ skirts, if that ball drops out during play, does the players get a penalty of some sort.

In that instance, Michelle, a let would be called and the point would be replayed.

ITF rules state "the point shall be replayed if a player is hindered in playing the point by either an unintentional act of the opponent(s), or something outside the player’s own control".
