You look at the Irish bench and outside of Bundee Aki, there's not a huge amount of international experience there.

If Andy Farrell's wanting to make a few changes, he'd probably want the score line to be a bit more in his favour before that comes.

    Name the Father Ted episode....

I can't imagine Ciaran Frawley will get this printed out to cover the entire front of his parochial house.

Sean Jansen has had the most metres gained for Ireland in the first half.

Him, Nick Timoney and Stuart McCloskey have been great.

I've been there before when there's lots of changes to a team and it's been a bit of a bitty performance, but you'll rely on that man Andy Farrell to rally the troops and give them a bit of direction at half time.

You'd expect Ireland to come out and deliver a much cleaner performance.

It's been great seeing how well McCloskey's been playing after moving out of Bundee's shadow.

It's been exactly what we've expected so far.

Japan have made it very difficult for Ireland. They're very energetic in their defensive line and they get line speed and have been trying to chop Ireland's big players.

Ireland have had to really grind out their tries. It's been a little bit scrappy in parts but that's probably what we expected from the game.

It's better defensively, but they set high standards so I'd give the first half a five. There's a lot of areas to improve, the set piece launch in particular. The error count is slightly too high.

It was a fast start from Japan but Ireland have hit back.

It's hard to sum up that half. I think all in all Andy Farrell won't be too concerned about what he's seen.

Ireland have made mistakes but there's been a lot of changes and less experienced players and ultimately all Farrell wants to see is how they step up and deal with this adversity.

It's to see if there was a deliberate knock on from Taira Main, but it was millimetres away from touching his hand before Robbie Henshaw knocked it on.

He gets away with it, and Japan have a scrum.

Ireland go long with the line out and Stuart McCloskey races forward to find Nick Timoney.

Sean Jansen then charges into the 22 with a great run but he's brought down by Tiennan Costley.

Ireland make a bit of a mess from the next ball but play is stopped for a TMO intervention.

    Great score from Robbie Henshaw!

It was brave of Ireland not to take the three when it was getting a bit nervy.

    Lovely footwork from Henshaw.

    Robbie Henshaw (con Frawley)

Ireland had all the momentum from the maul and Craig Casey fires it out the back.

Robbie Henshaw gets his hands on the ball and he has enough power to touch the ball down on the line.

Ciaran Frawley converts and Ireland are back ahead.
