    Bordeaux 0-0 Leicester Tigers

Matthieu Jalibert is under pressure on his line and kicks to halfway, but Leicester run it back until a loose pass on the left wing is forward.

Tigers were pegging the European champions back at the start, until a scrum penalty means the hosts can boot the ball downfield.

Leicester head coach Geoff Parling, speaking to Premier Sports:

"We've trained well this week, we know what a challenge Bordeaux pose, especially off transitions and unstructured play. It's a huge challenge for us.

"When we arrived, it was great to see so may Tigers supporters cheering us on.

"We'll decide how we want to play out there and we need to make sure we put our game on top of them."

Some of these guys have obviously experienced playing against Bordeaux and it is like nothing you would experience in England.

The intensity of it, how vocal the French fans are, they absolutely love their rugby here.

When you've got the sun cooking you as well, it's going to be very intense and they're going to feel the pressure, they really are.

But this is what these guys want to play in, they want to play against the best teams in Europe and they don't come much tougher than Bordeaux.

It will be one heck of an experience because this is Champions Cup rugby and knockout rugby, and it will definitely feel like that today.

This is exactly what you play for. There are so many people, the sun is beating down and look at the team that Tigers are playing against - it's very impressive.

But this is what you want to be involved in, you want to be commentating on these games or playing in these games and if you're a fan you want to be watching these games. It doesn't get any better than this.
