    *Alcaraz 6-1 0-1 Shapovalov

Rafael Nadal might not physically be here in Paris, but spiritually he will always be around.

The swashbuckling Spaniard has captured hearts all over the world, particularly in this part of the French capital.

A short walk down the road from the place where he has won a record 14 titles is a parked car which has the unmistakeable image of Nadal printed on the boot.

Similar adhesive stickers are also plastered on the back doors, while the dashboard has more Nadal-themed memorablia.

You can count at least eight photos depicting his some of his previous wins, plus a poster of the former world number one in that familiar pose of celebratory clenched fist and tensed bicep.

"Tennis is all about dedication, motivation and the will to win," is the Nadal quote alongside it.

Driving around Boulogne-Billancourt - the busy part of Paris which is home to Roland Garros - might also require dedication and motivation.

Hopefully not the will to win.
