Andy Murray has taken the first set in his second-round match at the Surbiton Open, against Gijs Brouwer of the Netherlands.

Murray produced a fist pump and a shout after he took the tie-break 7-4, winning the last shot with a fine passing forehand with Brouwer at the net.

At the start Swiatek was looking a bit nervy but once she gets going and finds her stride she is pretty much unstoppable and you can't compete with her power.

She has been so impressive in the last two games.

Daria Kasatkina believed this would be a different story following three losses to Iga Swiatek on the hard courts so far this year.

But it's been more of the same so far. Can the 20th seed come up with something different to disrupt her opponent's rhythm?

Or is she set to become the 34th player in a row to fail to stop the world number one...

We're into a first-set tie-break in the second round of the Surbiton Open as Andy Murray takes on Gijs Brouwer of the Netherlands.

Both players have had chances to gain a break of serve, but Murray has missed his four break-point opportunities, with Brouwer not taking his one chance.

Kasatkina can't recover as she's dragged out wide by a sweeping cross-court forehand.

Swiatek uses the same tactic, and is ready at the net to send a winner down the line to complete the hold.

It's been competitive, but the top seed is in charge now.

These are starting to become fantastic rallies, both going for it. Every now and then they are ending up at the net so we're getting a bit of everything.

The crowd is still flooding in. It will be pretty much full by the time they all get in and sit down.

You can't expect Swiatek not to take opportunities like that with the form she's in.

The world number one sticks away a forehand to move 4-2 ahead in the opening set.

For those wandering around the grounds but without Chatrier tickets, then this looks to be the best spot to watch the action.

A couple of hundred or so folding deckhairs, with the canvas in the traditional red of the clay-court surface, are pitched up in front of a big screeen.

This is called the Jardin des Mousquetaires, where there are four statues of Jean Borotra, Jacques Brugnon, Henri Cochet and René Lacoste.

The quartet were known, of course, as the Four Musketeers and won the Davis Cup six times for France in the 1920s and 1930s.

More people filter into Court Philippe Chatrier. They know this is shaping up to be a good one.

But what about those who can't get in? Fear not, it appears they get a pretty good deal too...

There were a couple of nervy shots at the start of the match, but they're beginning to feel like distant memories now. It's heating up nicely.

A scorcher of a forehand into the corner takes Swiatek to 40-0, and another settles the game - but only after Kasatkina makes a point by unleashing a winner from the baseline.

Andy Murray is currently in action in the second round of the Surbiton Open, in which he is the tournament's top seed.

His match against Gijs Brouwer is still on serve, 5-4 in the opening set, after Murray failed to take a break point chance in the fourth game.

Not everyone made their seats for the start of the opening women’s semi-final but the first changeover sees more punters stream in.

Probably about 70/75% full now, I’d guess.

Respectful rather than raucous atmosphere. Although that 26-shot rally gets the adrenalin going and lifts the noise.

Kasatkina reaches deuce and then conjures up a devastating backhand which she arrows down the line to turn things around.

She can't get over the line at the first time of asking, but a good first serve gives her another chance... Job done!

Kasatkina makes a great start as she attempts to pull level with the world number one, firing down an ace for lift-off.

But Swiatek, as we know, does not go away these days. The Pole wallops a forehand for break point.
