Rafael Nadal's service game is shipshape and orderly. Not as explosive as Nick Kyrgios' but very efficient, backed as it is by a chorus line of hustle and court-savvy.

He is soon 40-0 to the good with Kyrgios struggling to get a hold on the serve.

He holds to 15 and we are into a tie-break.

Nick Kyrgios twangs the ball into the top of the tape in the opening point. Is this the glimmer for Rafael Nadal to get his crowbar into?

    A missed first serve.

The second kicks like a mule though and Kyrgios chases in to put away the volley.

A lovely drop-lob combo takes him to 30-15.

    But a duffed half-volley pick-up gives Nadal 30-30

    Where is this going?
