Copil wraps up his hold with an ace down the middle. If Herbert and Murray can break his serve, they should win the match by default.

Andy is not the only Murray in men's doubles action at the moment. Jamie, along with fellow Briton Neal Skupski, is level at one-set all in their match against the pairing of Croatia's Ivan Dodig and Slovakia's Filip Polasek.

Hip surgery? What hip surgery? Andy Murray sprints right and hits a beautiful forehand on the run to take it to 15-15.

Buuuuut then Copil hits a 140 mph serve to take the lead again.

But THEN the Romanian double faults. This is exhausting.

Game, set and match - Fogninipublished at 20:18 BST 4 July 2019

    Fucsovics 7-6 (8-6) 4-6 6-7 (3-7) 6-2 3-6 Fognini

Italy's Fabio Fognini, the 12th seed, is certainly earning his money at Wimbledon.

In the opening round Fognini took three hours 23 minutes to overcome American Frances Tiafoe and today the Italian was on court for three hours 38 minutes as he edged out Hungary's Marton Fucsovics 6-3 in the fifth.

Fognini, the only other seed left in Rafael Nadal's quarter of the draw, plays Tennys Sandgren of the United States in round three on Saturday

And that concludes the men's singles matches for today.

  8. Murray holdspublished at 20:18 BST 4 July 2019

    *Copil/Humbert 6-4 1-6 1-3 Herbert/Murray

"Yes!" hisses Murray as Herbert jumps left to hit a winning volley. The Scot then hits a winning volley of his own and the crowd are well and truly back with him after a bit of a slow start to the set.

The serve and volley works for the pair a third time. Herbert gives the ball the lightest of touches and they back up their break.

This was how Rafael Nadal and Nick Kyrgios departed the stage. Courtesies extended both ways I think.

But I don't think they will be heading down Wimbledon Village's six-pound-pint boozers to sink a couple of cool ones.

    Copil/Humbert* 6-4 1-6 1-1 Herbert/Murray

Oo, some intrigue. Humbert double faults and gives Herbert and Murray a look-in at 30-15.

The Frenchman then hits a forehand wide and the crowd wakes up as it realises Murray has two break points.

Hebert makes equally light work of his service game. It's a fairly cagey start to the third set so far.

Copil looks like he'll get his service game over in a matter of minutes, as per.

The Romanian falters slightly as he smashes the ball into the net, but Humbert makes no such mistake as he slams the ball down to win the game. A straightforward start to the third set.
