Oosthuizen is also in with a decent shout of a birdie a couple of feet back, less so DeChambeau, who clips the bump of the left bunker and watches his ball drift off down the slope.

Tiger Woods clips out of the bunker and it comes to a rest around eight feet beyond the cup. Coming down the slope, the defending champion wobbles it slightly right. Never quite caught the line.

This will be an eagle chance at the 570-yard-hole which would help reverse some of the damage he's already done.

On the fringes, Tiger Woods reaches for his putter but doesn't get quite enough gas on his second shot and is left with an eight-footer for par. Tricky...

Woods strides round behind the hole to glare back at it, before squatting behind his ball and sizing the break up - a quick adjustment of his shirt, a wiggle of the feet, and down it goes.

Bryson DeChambeau looks in turmoil at the moment. We all know about his physical gifts but this game doesn't half get you between the ears.

In response, he cannons a drive away on the eighth and that doesn't look half bad.

Westwood actually saved par on the par-five 15thm despite having found the water with his approach, but then drops a shot at the 16th after his 'makeable' par putt drifts past the hole.

Are his chances drifting away?

Who would have thought Bryson DeChambeau would be a couple of strokes the wrong side of the projected cut at this stage?
