Emery and Moyes are certainly up there. But O'Neil is another. I had Wolves pipped to go down at the start of the season and he has instead got Wolves fighting to be in the top half.

Here come the players. Looks a much milder and stiller night in Sussex this evening. Who is going to win this?
Brighton v Wolves (19:45 GMT)
Brighton & Hove Albion
Brighton manager Roberto de Zerbi speaking to TNT Sports before the game, on the winter break: "I hope it was important, it was good for us and we needed it.
"Now we are ready to do the rest of the season and we play a very tough game, but we are good to play."
On facing Wolves: "It was very tough last season, but we won the game we deserved to win the two games [last season].
"Playing against Wolves is still tough, they have very important players. If you watch Wolves' attackers you can understand the difficulty of the game."
On James Milner making his 633rd Premier League appearance: "He is younger than his real age and he can play in any position on the pitch.
"For us it is a good thing to have his experience and his leadership on the pitch."

Kieran McKenna has to be worth a mention. For Ipswich to be in the play-offs at all is remarkable, let alone a contender for the top two. Many people say the Championship is the toughest league in Europe, but whether they go up or not, his side has made it look far more straightforward.

And he's still starting in the Premier League. Amazing.

Milner, 38, is making his 633rd Premier League appearance tonight to go past Ryan Giggs into second in the all-time list. Superb. Just Gareth Barry to chase down now.

If anything sums up the life of a football manager it's David Moyes being nominated for manager of the season in one breath and being a game from the sack in another, depending on who you ask.
On 5 live by the way the discussion is Roy Hodgson's future at Crystal Palace...

Manager of the season so far has to be Moyes, Klopp or Emery (can't choose between them) all for their teams far surpassing pre-season expectations.

'Best offside trap in Europe, you'll never sing that.'
What a fantastic shout.

Image source, Getty ImagesEmery has to be up for manager of the season. Not only has he bought well, but he has developed players that were struggling under previous managers. He has transformed the club and we have the best offside trap in Europe.

Wolves
Image source, Getty ImagesWolves manager Gary O'Neil speaking to TNT Sports before the game, on Pedro Neto's return: "He is really important for us, the start he had was incredible and the form he was in.
"It took us a while [to get Neto fully fit]. We had to be patient with him and now he is in a good place and is ready to go."
On his time at Wolves: "I have enjoyed it. It was tough at the start, tough in the early days when you see things that you are not familiar with, but to be fair to the lads they have given everything.
"We are not immune to setbacks and we will suffer some, the lads are in a good spot and it is a great test tonight.
"It is a real test and we will see if we can push towards that next level. I think saying we have got to win is extreme, but these are the games we want to win."

The former England man has six goal involvements in eight Premier League starts against Wolves (4 goals, 2 assists), and was one of three players to net a brace in this exact fixture last term as the Seagulls ran out 6-0 winners (also two goals for Pascal Groß and Deniz Undav).

Former Blackburn striker and pundit
This is a very hard one to call because both teams are in decent form.
As I've said previously, Brighton are yet to hit the heights of last season but they are still eighth and are still hard to beat. They have only lost one of their past six league games and, since the end of October, have suffered only two defeats in 16 games.
Wolves got past Brentford in the FA Cup in midweek and have won three in a row in the league. They are organised, resilient and carry a goal threat too, which made it difficult to know what to go with here.
The fact Brighton are at home swung it in their favour for me... but I would not be surprised if this ended up a draw.
Sutton's prediction: 2-1

A sign of the times is the fact that Wolves have won each of their last three Premier League games, and they last won four successive top-flight matches back in January 1972 under Bill McGarry.
For context, it was a few days after Diamonds Are Forever came out at the cinema and Brian Clough was on his way to winning the league with Derby.

We've only had two sackings all season in the Premier League which suggests most bosses are doing pretty well - but Gary O'Neil's job is worth highlighting in my book.
Who's your shout for manager of the season so far - at any level - and why?
Brighton v Wolves (19:45 GMT)
Let's be honest, who thought Gary O'Neil was the man to change the fortunes at Wolves this summer?
It looked a massive job. A lack of new signings, and lots of experience leaving - including skipper Ruben Neves - triggered concern about the commitment of owners Fosun and a general feeling relegation was virtually inevitable.
But look at them now.
Image source, Getty Images"I don’t want to be led down the road where it feels like I am saying we have achieved something because we haven’t," O'Neil said this week. "Twenty-eight points from 20 games is a decent return but a lot can go right and wrong in the last 18 games.
"Can we get another 28? Fifty-six would be an incredible season."
