  1. INJURY TIMEpublished at 90+1 mins

    Brighton 0-0 Wolves

Three minutes added on. 180 seconds for Joao Pedro to think about what he's done.

    Or what he didn't do.

  2. Postpublished at 90 mins

    Brighton 0-0 Wolves

    SHOOOT MAN!!

Joao Pedro has the ball at his feet, 12 yards out, centre of goal, and he tries a Cruyff turn.

    Goodness me.

  3. Postpublished at 89 mins

    Brighton 0-0 Wolves

This is petering out. It started averagely and it's not getting any better I'm afraid.

We've had 18 shots on goal tonight but it's threatening to end goalless. Can we find a late winner?

  5. GREAT SAVE!published at 80 mins

    Brighton 0-0 Wolves

Brighton's change of shape is giving Wolves chances. Matheus Cunha threads in a pass for Mario Lemina to run in behind the high line, his angle isn't great but he takes the shot on and Jason Steele has to fly to his right and beat it out.

It's on a knife edge, fair play to Roberto de Zerbi he is going all out and it's leaving his side open at the back...

  6. 'Shocking touch'published at 21:26 GMT 22 January 2024

Shocking touch from Matheus Cunha. He holds his run and he should go round Jason Steele.

I don't know why he is thinking to take it so wide!

It's maverick from Jason Steele but it works! Wolves break out of their own half really well and Brighton are caught short.

Steele comes a mile out of goal to close down Matheus Cunha, who toes the ball past him but has no angle for a shot or cross really and can only screw it behind for a goal kick.

    That was almost it though!

  8. CLOSE!published at 76 mins

    Brighton 0-0 Wolves

Joao Pedro has put in a real shift. He's nominally a striker but has just chased back the whole length of the field to make a tackle in the right-back spot.

Wolves keep the ball though and send in Pedro Neto into the area, he puts a ball right across the mouth of the goal that's neither a shot or pass and it snakes away to safety...

  9. YELLOW CARDpublished at 73 mins

    Brighton 0-0 Wolves

James Milner has taken most of my talking points with him unfortunately. Max Kilman does now chop down Joao Pedro out wide and goes in the book and here's a free-kick in a dangerous area.

  10. SUBSTITUTIONSpublished at 72 mins

More changes. Pervis Estupinan and James Milner come off with Adam Lallana and Adam Webster on. Three at the back for the hosts now.

Wolves are getting deeper and deeper now. Thinking about taking a point?

  12. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 69 mins

    Brighton 0-0 Wolves

A change for Wolves now as Jean-Ricner Bellegarde replaces Pablo Sarabia. Let's be honest we need someone to spark this again.

Good game this, both teams just lacking that cutting edge!

  14. Postpublished at 66 mins

    Brighton 0-0 Wolves

Tariq Lamptey is normally a right-back of course but he's playing much higher up the pitch here.

  15. SUBSTITUTIONSpublished at 64 mins

    Brighton 0-0 Wolves

Here we go! Tariq Lamptey and Evan Ferguson are on for Brighton with Danny Welbeck and Facundo Buonanotte making way.

  16. Postpublished at 63 mins

    Brighton 0-0 Wolves

Brilliant last-gasp defending again, Mario Lemina this time the man to cut out a pullback. Brighton are going to send on a forgotten man in Tariq Lamptey.

Into the final 30 minutes. Can we get this opening goal?

  18. Postpublished at 59 mins

    Brighton 0-0 Wolves

Evan Ferguson is being readied for Brighton. Go big.

  19. GREAT SAVE!published at 55 mins

    Brighton 0-0 Wolves

The second half is a different flavour altogether! Now Wolves go close, Pedro Neto glides into the area, has the composure to wait and wait to see what's developing in the middle before shooting at the near post and forcing Jason Steele into a save. Craig Dawson smashes a volley over from the follow-up corner.

  20. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 53 mins

There's a goal on the way, surely. Brighton are so close again as Jack Hinshelwood bombs on down the right and pulls it back, Wolves skipper Max Kilman slides in and diverts it against the base of the post and away.
