Nathan: Mings has been amazing tonight. Watched him barking orders all evening. Great to see

Villa are truly awful, and I'm not seeing what everyone else is seeing in Grealish.

With no away goals rule in place someone has just said that if it ends 1-1 this whole evening will have been utterly pointless. Just a one-legged game now.

    Keep it light lads.

    Leicester 1-1 Aston Villa

Villa haven't had a shot on target since they scored, they've barely been in Leicester territory this half but they are minutes away from a creditable result here. Take it back to Villa Park all square. May have a new striker or two by then.

    Henri Lansbury is on.

    Leicester 1-1 Aston Villa

Former Crystal Palace striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

I'm so shocked the net hasn't rippled! Well, it did, but it was the side netting... Great movement from Jamie Vardy, superb movement.

The league game was the same where they played on the counter-attack and Vardy and Iheanacho caused Villa all sorts of problems.

Great feet from James Maddison to evade two men and find Marc Albrighton, he goes down under a challenge but still gets a shot away under pressure...

  11. CLOSE!published at 82 mins

    Leicester 1-1 Aston Villa

A draw would still be a good result for Villa, I would have thought. The Villa fans all applauded Marc Albrighton when he came on, by the way.

And that's a chance! Leicester catch Villa ragged again, tired legs? Ricardo frees Jamie Vardy into space, he's got clear and wraps a shot into the side-netting from 20 yards.

    Good opening.

    Leicester 1-1 Aston Villa

Suddenly space inbetween the Villa lines as James Maddison has a gap to get a shot off. He spanks it high and wide, sliced in the heavy rain. He could have done better there.

Nathan: What on earth was that free kick supposed to be? Shocking from Luiz, we deserved that. Rubbish.

Jon Evans: What a stupid goal to concede.

Youri Tielemans has had a frustrating night and he's coming off as former Villa winger Marc Albrighton comes on. A bit of width.

    Leicester 1-1 Aston Villa

It's a bad mistake! I know Konsa wants Douglas Luiz to come and play, but just put it in the channel, don't do that! Douglas Luiz gets robbed, good pressure on the ball - Jamie Vardy does really well, a good ball and I told you Iheanacho changes games, it's a superb finish.

I couldn't see them scoring, Villa were defending so well, but it was just one mistake.

Tyrone Mings was fuming with Ezri Konsa after that goal. Not seen him so angry since he locked in a five-year term at 4.8%.

  18. goal

GOAL - Leicester 1-1 Aston Villapublished at 74 mins

    Kelechi Iheanacho

Villa undone! It's a cheap way to turn the ball over to be honest as Ezri Konsa plays a free-kick short, Hamza Choudhury is all over Douglas Luiz and nicks it off him. Leicester are three on three, Jamie Vardy plays in Kelechi Iheanacho and he does the rest.

Rolls the ball onto his left foot, and slams a shot into the roof of the net.

  19. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 74 mins

    Leicester 0-1 Aston Villa

Anwar el Ghazi limps off and Indiana Vassilev comes on, a teenage American with an excellent name for Aston Villa.

  20. Postpublished at 73 mins

    Leicester 0-1 Aston Villa

Excellent again from Ricardo who again finds James Maddison just inside the area. Again Orjan Nyland is equal to his shot though. This is relentless but Villa look comfortable. Leicester need to try something new.
