It's a massive moment for them, the fans are up for it. It's a big night in their season and the supporters are really going to get behind them here.

Right. Back to business. Birthday party later.

The players are out on the pitch and we're almost ready for kick-off. I have a feeling this is going to be a good game...

  6. 'Not taking it for granted'published at 19:43 GMT 15 February 2019

    QPR v Watford (19:45 GMT)

Watford midfielder Will Hughes speaking to BT Sport: "It is one of the best runs I have been on. It is a good chance for us tonight.

"There is something special about it [the FA Cup] with the teams who play in it. I'm not taking it for granted tonight.

"A lot of the Premier League teams have been knocked out by lower league opposition. It's a big chance for us tonight but they will be thinking the same.

"The atmosphere is quite intimidating. It's a close stadium to play in and there's a different style of football to the Premier League. We know the tasks in hand and we know their strengths."

Why just mention it's Gomes birthday? Also Joe Lumley's. When was the last time two keepers in a game shared a birthday?

"So hopefully we can go one step further and beat a Premier League team on our home ground tonight.

"The crowd play a big part. I think they know that. They have proved the difference so tonight will be massive.

"They will be our 12th man and it should be rocking tonight."

Chance for the likes of Watford's Tom Cleverley and Andre Gray tonight. They haven't started too many games of late but you'd expect them to take their opportunity.

Troy Deeney will no doubt cause problems too.

  13. 'Anything can happen'published at 19:31 GMT 15 February 2019

    QPR v Watford (19:45 GMT)

QPR manager Steve McClaren speaking to BT Sport: "We have to compete. We need to stay in the game. The key is [Troy] Deeney and [Andre] Gray up front. Can our backs handle them?

"In the front two we have an outlet. The first thing is making sure the Watford players know they will be in a game. We want to be putting crosses into the box.

"We have been inconsistent. We made four good loan signings and three of those are injured so that has been a big loss for us. But in the FA Cup anything can happen.

"I said to the players they are going to have to work hard tonight. The first 15 minutes are going to be vital in this game. It's over 95 minutes and then whatever happens!"

It's Watford keeper Heurelho Gomes' birthday today! He turns 38. I reckon sealing a place in the quarter-finals would be a pretty good gift.

He's just being warmed up at the moment and he looks more youthful than me. He's more than a decade older...

  19. 'We have to be ready'published at 19:21 GMT 15 February 2019

    QPR v Watford (19:45 GMT)

Watford manager Javi Gracia speaking to BT Sport: "We tried to choose the best option. We want a good performance. We have changed some of them but the squad is ready and they all deserve a place.

"There is no secret. When you have good players and you work hard like they are you have options to compete well.

"The players have high commitment. The difference in the level that both teams are playing is not much. In this stadium playing against QPR you have to defend well against set-pieces.

"We have to be ready for that."

Ope: Birmingham won the League Cup and got relegated, ditto for Wigan after winning the FA Cup. Why not Watford? after all they have a certain Success (no pun intended) in their books.
