Poland counter but keeper Eiji Kawashima comes to the edge of the box to cut out a good cross.

Senegal have just had a player booked against Colombia.

That means they have now had six yellow cards to Japan's three. If these scores stay the same, that will see Japan top the group because of fair play.

I have lost count of the amount of times Poland have had the ball in advantageous positions and gone all the way back to the goalkeeper.

WHAT ARE THEY DOING???? Poland have done it again where they play the ball all the way back from attack to their goalkeeper.

Japan make a change seconds after the restart. Striker Yuya Osako, who started the first two games, replaces Leicester's Shinji Okazaki.

It has been a very frustrating World Cup for him. Maybe in the last 45 minutes he can get a goal and go away with his head held high.

This is the fifth consecutive World Cup game in which Japan have been level at half-time, going on to win one, draw two and lose the other prior to today.

Japan have been how they were in the first couple of games. They've moved the ball around, tried to created openings.

They are lacking a cutting edge, but a draw will see them through so they've prodded and probed without over-commiting.

Highlight of the first half was the fourth official putting his board up and showing only one minute.

A dour first half. Understandable from Japan because a draw suits them, but Poland's appetite for the game non-existent.

Japan top. Senegal second. Colombia and Poland going home.

But one goal - by anyone - in the second half will change EVERYTHING.
