That is one of the most ludicrous things I've seen on a cricket field.
Match abandoned because of rain - England win series 2-0
Australia needed 130 off 12 overs to win (DLS-adjusted target)
Match reduced to 12 overs per side after two rain delays
Woakes takes two wickets in first two balls of Australia reply
Buttler (65 off 41) takes 22 off 11th over bowled by Hazlewood
Stephan Shemilt and Tom Mallows

That is village cricket.
Comedy cricket klaxon!
Ben Stokes thinks he has smashed the ball down the ground for four and starts walking off the field. But then he is forced to start running when an Australia fielder claws the ball back from the rope, slipping as he reaches the crease and could be run out.
The umpire sends it upstairs for a check.
"Ooh, that turned" shouts Matthew Wade.
Hmm, I'm not sure it did.
Anyway, the ball squirts off Jos Buttler's inside edge for a single.
Ben Stokes will face the final ball.
To be fair to Glenn Maxwell he is making it hard for England to find the middle of the bat. They can only run five off the first three deliveries.

Do you think DLS had in their calculations, having to bowl a spinner in the final over?
You wouldn't see this in normal conditions. Glenn Maxwell is going to bowl the final over.
Ha, that is outrageous. Jos Buttler has clubbed the final ball from Josh Hazlewood away for another huge six.
22 from that over. England in the driving seat.

That's an amazing shot. He had to contort himself.
Eng 93-2
He's done it again!
It is a wide yorker from Josh Hazlewood but Jos Buttler stretches and guides the ball fine past third man and away for a third successive four to bring up his fifty from 35 balls.

We still haven't seen a ball come out of the middle of Buttler's bat.
These last two overs are going to be fun.
Jos Buttler heaves Josh Hazlewood over extra cover for a one-bounce four. The next ball he pulls the ball through square leg to make it back-to-back boundaries.
Ben Stokes smacks the next delivery straight down the ground. Glenn Maxwell gets his fingertips to the ball but cannot prevent England from running two.
Maxwell has a grimaced expression on his face, that looked painful.

Woof. Not a bad way to start.
Ben Stokes smashes Glenn Maxwell over mid-wicket for a huge six!
That's a fair point, Adam. Though you also have to think about the hardy souls in the stands at the Manuka Oval who have stuck around in pretty horrible conditions. They want to see some cricket.
Here come the players. Let's hope there are no more delays.

That means England will only have another 12 balls to face in this innings.
Pat Cummins, who has already bowled three overs, is bowled out. Mitchell Starc, Josh Hazelwood and Adam Zampa have all bowled two and Glenn Maxwell has two balls of his first over to bowl when we resume.

The powerplay for Australia will be four overs. Two bowlers can bowl three overs and three can bowl two.
It looks like the rain has stopped and the covers are tentatively being removed. Fingers crossed the players will be back out in the middle soon.
