Gifted Soul: Good positive batting or very sloppy bowling? I'm going with the latter. Very poor start.
I have found the first problem of the clocks going forward. The sun is right in my eyes shining through my window for my opening live text stint. I don't expect sympathy.
It's a maiden from Wood to start. If you need something doing, get a Durham player on.
Wood isn't up to full speed yet but is already hurrying Rohit. The right-hander almost chops onto his stumps.
I'd be out of puff by the time I'd got halfway through Wood's long run.
Mark Wood is coming on.
Rohit 17, Dhawan 16
Jos Buttler doesn't strike me as the type to read the riot act. I may be wrong. Topley bowls a wide after that bad ball at the start of the over.
In fairness to the lanky left-armer he responds with a run of dots. More of that needed.
Short and wide again. England aren't helping themselves.

Curran also gets a wicket with the worst ball he's bowled all year. It's very short and very wide and Dhawan only just clears Dawid Malan at point. Ben Stokes has his hands on his head at slip. Still, this is a decent start for India.
Thump. Rohit imperiously drives Sam Curran over mid-off.
He flicks through mid-wicket a ball later. Back-to-back boundaries.

That's a real bad ball from Reece Topley - full and way down the leg side. It may have been an attempted yorker. Dhawan flicks it to the fine leg boundary.
Much better from Toppers next up with Dhawan beaten.
Still only five from the over.

This morning we're running a Q&A with England T20 bowler Tymal Mills. Send your questions to us via #bbccricket and Tymal will answer a selection of them.

A good over from Sam Curran, conceding only a single. Is the younger Curran now ahead of his brother in all formats?
Rohit may be imposing himself just a little more than the previous two games. He's walking down the pitch to Topley already, armed with that big bat of his.
Too full from Topley. Rohit drives him through the covers.
Reece Topley, his beard perfectly groomed and tattoos down his left arm, opens from the Pavilion End
Rohit 2, Dhawan 3
Image source, BCCIWith a slip in place, Curran is pushing the ball full in search of swing. Dhawan leans on one and takes two into the off side.
Five from the first over without much aggressive intent.

Dr James Pope: So much has been made about England's player rotation and how important it is to give players a break from the bubble. Yet Matt Parkinson has done all the winter tour. All the bubbles, all the quarantine and all for what? Despite having a better first-class average than Bess too...
Sam Curran is opening the bowling for England. Will we see a change of approach from India today after their drubbing on Friday?
The first ball sees the openers take a very risky single. I think Dhawan was home.
Here we go then for the final time.
As some great Swedish philosophers once said...
The winner takes it all. The loser has to fall.
Image source, BCCIJos Buttler was almost embarrassed to win the toss again earlier, with Virat Kohli openly rueing his inability to win the chance to choose between a bat or a bowl.
Kohli has lost 10 of the 12 tosses during this tour. He's remarkably bad at it.
