It looks a really good pitch but if you keep bowling wide to Shikhar Dhawan you're going to get punished. Ben Stokes is the latest culprit. It has been really, really poor from England.

It's a tough start for England - the chat in the middle before the match was that this was going to be the best pitch of the series. India are making it look that way. I also think the way England batted in the second ODI has caused India to be more attacking.
Keep your questions coming for Tymal. He was getting very chirpy about some high-flying Canaries the other day.
A change to spin makes little difference to Shikhar Dhawan - at least not when you bowl halfway down the track.
Four runs and 50 for the India opener. He's got there from 44 balls.

Dearie me. Stokes has caught the short and wide bug from his team-mates and Rohit slaps the ball away. England need to quieten things down. Jos Buttler turns to Adil Rashid.

I can see India posting at least 370/380 unless England sort their lines and lengths out. Just a suggestion but short, wide and full tosses is probably not the best approach. I could be wrong though...

There's a lot of sun cream on show among the England team today - Cumbrian Liam Livingstone in particular. It looks hot - very hot - and not the place you want to be given the run around.
Rohit gets another four at the end of the over, albeit edgily. Early days but this could be painful.

Statman Tom: The concern for England would be that they’ve got no specialist death bowlers so without wickets in the powerplay you feel this could be a very long hot afternoon
More runs...
Wood goes for a length ball and Dhawan just casually swipes across the line to send the ball through mid-wicket. The India bench enjoyed that one. Dismissive.

Stokes has bowled well in the last couple of games. Four runs come from his opening over.
India have won the powerplay today with a much better effort than the previous games. They've been helped by some ropey bowling.
Image source, BCCIA sign of England's difficulties is that Ben Stokes is into the attack already.

Image source, Getty ImagesQuestion: We know England like to chase a score down as a batting unit - but as a bowler, would you prefer bowling at the death to defend a target, or coming into bat in the last few overs to win the game for your side? (Matt Moreton)
Mills: Haha! If you ask any bowler if they want to take the glory of hitting the winning runs, and they will say yes.

Someone tweeted us to earlier in this series to say whenever they read Shikhar Dhawan's name they do so to the tune of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Now I can't get it out of my head. I'm expecting Dick van Dyke to come on for England with some off spin.
Liam Livingstone dives full length excellently on the boundary edge to stop another four to Dhawan.
Question: Who's the best batsman you have bowled at?
Tymal Mills
England T20 bowler
Image source, Getty ImagesIt's a little cop out but the best batsman I have bowled at is probably Virat Kohli. The one I found hardest to bowl at was Brendon McCullum. He consistently hit me for six over point, wherever I bowled.

It's all India at the minute. Wood is hit away now. A lovely shot from Shikhar Dhawan.
Rohit 21, Dhawan 29
Oh and now Reece Topley ends the over with a full toss. It's easy pickings for someone like Rohit Sharma.
Topley grumpily shouts in anger. Not a good over.

John Dunthorne: English bowlers helping India in their new aggressive approach to ODIs by bowling garbage.
Four more! That was there to be hit.
