    Atletico Madrid 5-1 Tottenham

Archie Gray goes into the book for hauling down Matteo Ruggeri.

That looked a bit soft for a yellow, but when it rains...

    Robert LewandowskiImage source, Getty Images

First real chance for Robert Lewandowski and it is almost a goal!

Raphinha gets in behind Kieran Trippier on the left and weights a pass perfectly for Lewandowski, who prods his effort wide of the far post.

  3. goal

GOAL: Atalanta 0-5 Bayern Munichpublished at 21:22 GMT 10 March

    Michael Olise (64 mins)

    Exquisite.

It's a second for Michael Olise and a fifth for Bayern who have run Atalanta absolutely ragged.

It's that trust left-peg again as Olise shapes inside on the edge of the box and unleashes a wicked, curling effort which flies past the divie of Marco Carnesecchi and inside his right-hand post.

A glorious finish and Bayern are firing a warming-shot across Europe tonight.

  4. YELLOW CARDpublished at 21:21 GMT 10 March

    Atletico Madrid 5-1 Tottenham

Richarlison is booked for standing on the ankle of Marcos Llorente. That was clumsy to say the least.

Devastation for Tottenham. They had a super chance at the other end and it was a great save by Jan Oblak.

Within three passes, the ball is in the other net. Pedro Porro looked like he could not be bothered!

  7. van de Ven on his kneespublished at 21:19 GMT 10 March

    Atletico Madrid 5-1 Tottenham

    Elizabeth Conway
    BBC Sport Spanish football reporter

van de Ven is in the box on his knees with his head in his hands. He cannot believe what he's witnessing. Tottenham should have got a goal back but instead they some how concede another!

    Lamine YamalImage source, Getty Images

Barcelona are finding a lot more room when they attack now and Lamine Yamal's ball into the box is headed up into the air by Dan Burn and Aaron Ramsdale has to push it over his own bar with Robert Lewandowski lurking.

  9. GREAT SAVE!published at 21:18 GMT 10 March

    Atalanta 0-4 Bayern Munich

Champagne stuff from Michael Olise as he drives forward, slaloming his way towards the Atalanta goal but he eventually sees his attempt to dink over Marco Carnesecchi smothered by the keeper, without whom it really would be six or seven by bow.

  10. goal

    Julian Alvarez (55 mins)

    That's brutal.

Richarlison meets a free-kick completely unmarked but his header is kept out by a stunning Jan Oblak save.

Atleti hoof the ball clear and all of a sudden Julian Alvarez is racing clear. Where is the Spurs defence?

The Argentine striker reaches the penalty area, composes himself, and slots the ball past Vicario. Talk about a counter-attack.

  11. 'Final ball is not good enough'published at 21:16 GMT 10 March

    Newcastle 0-0 Barcelona

    Chris Waddle
Former Newcastle & England winger on BBC Radio 5 Live

Great tempo about Newcastle. They're very positive and on the front foot. It's just that final ball and the decision making in the final third is just not good enough.

Barcelona just can not get going, they've been very very poor and that's me being nice to them.

  12. Postpublished at 21:14 GMT 10 March

    Atletico Madrid 4-1 Tottenham

Antonin Kinsky and Micky van de Ven paid the price, but they aren't the only players out there to lose their footing this evening.

Players from both sides are finding themselves on the deck far too often.

It looks like the Atleti ground staff have been rather liberal with the sprinklers.

  13. Postpublished at 21:13 GMT 10 March

    Newcastle 0-0 Barcelona

A really lovely move by Newcastle down the right sees Anthony Elanga burst past the full-back and towards the box. He plays a low ball in but too close to Joan García.

  14. Postpublished at 21:12 GMT 10 March

    Newcastle 0-0 Barcelona

Aaron Ramsdale has to be quick to get to a ball into the box just ahead of Lamine Yamal.

Then another fine Lewis Hall pass sends William Osula in behind Pau Cubarsí but he drives his shot over from a difficult angle.

Tottenham have got a rescue mission on their hands in the second half. They have been nowhere near.

The two changes at half-time are just Igor Tudor looking for answers.

The Spurs manager needs the sack not just for terrible results but for his complete lack of humanity and man-management. He substituted his young, inexperienced goalkeeper after only 17 minutes, without even looking at him when he left the field.

  18. goal

GOAL: Atalanta 0-4 Bayern Munichpublished at 21:09 GMT 10 March

    Nicholas Jackson (52 mins)

A devastating counter from the visitors ends with a glorious goal...

It all stems from a free-kick to Atalanta just outside the Bayern box, but Nikola Zelewski's effort hits Aleksandar Pavlovic who sends the visitors racing away down the left.

The ball is eventually played in by Alphonso Davies to Luis Diaz who touches neatly to Nicholas Jackson to steady himself and fire low to Marco Carnesecchi's right to find the bottom corner.
