    Atletico Madrid 4-1 Tottenham

    That should be five.

Ademola Lookman slips in Matteo Ruggeri who squares the ball from the left of the box, only for Antoine Griezmann to completely miss the ball and then Marcos Llorente to fire wide from seven-or-so yards out.

  2. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:46 GMT 10 March

    Atalanta 0-3 Bayern Munich

I think it’s fair to say Bayern Munich have one foot in the quarter-finals after just 45 minutes of a two-legged tie.

The visitors ran Atalanta ragged in the early stages and Serge Gnabry squared for Josip Stanisic to tap-in inside 12 minutes before Michael Olise curled home from the edge of the box and then threaded Gnabry though to make it 3-0 after just 25 minutes.

Marco Carnesecchi has made a series of saves to keep the deficit semi-respectable while Gnabry also thumped the angle of post and bar with a curler from outside the box just before the break.

High tempo half of football, but no goals.

  4. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 20:45 GMT 10 March

    Atalanta 0-3 Bayern Munich

Serge Gnabry clips the angle of post and bar with a wonderful curling effort from more than 20-yards out.

Some of Bayern's football has been a joy to watch - unless you're an Atalanta fan, or perhaps a Man City or Real Madrid fan...

  5. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 20:45 GMT 10 March

    Newcastle 0-0 Barcelona

Oh hang on, could this be a penalty for Newcastle as Anthony Elanga goes down inside the box?

There's a check by VAR but it is a quick one, Elanga instigated the contact before falling.

Newcastle United supporters are not too happy with referee Marco Guida - not least after Lamine Yamal was not booked for a cynical foul on Lewis Hall.

A chant of "You're not fit to referee" rings out at St James' Park.

  7. 'Tudor looks a lost man'published at 20:44 GMT 10 March

    Atletico Madrid 4-1 Tottenham

    Paul Robinson
Former England goalkeeper on BBC Radio 5 Live

I am in shock. The lack of application from Tottenham is unbelievable.

This has been a terrible first half and Igor Tudor looks like a lost man.

Postpublished at 20:43 GMT 10 March

    Atletico Madrid 4-1 Tottenham

David Hancko goes down clutching his shin after a heavy challenge from Micky van de Ven. Kevin Danso take the opportunity to scream at the stricken Atleti man.

Van de Ven is a lucky boy - he won the ball, but his trailing foot caught Hancko studs-up.

  9. Postpublished at 20:41 GMT 10 March

    Atalanta 0-3 Bayern Munich

Nicolas Jackson comes inches away from a fourth with a venomous first-time effort from Marco van Basten territory at an acute angle on the right of the box.

That's 11 shots - six of them on target - while some mesmerising feet from Michael Olise and then Luis Diaz in the box almost lead to shot number 12.

If Tudor is still the manager after this, I don't know what he has to do to get sacked.

  11. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 20:40 GMT 10 March

    Atletico Madrid 4-1 Tottenham

Cristian Romero meets a corner and heads against the outside of the post! The Spurs captain was completely unmarked there.

Micky van de Ven went to ground, claiming he was being held, but the referee is not interested.

Anthony Elanga has put some good crosses in tonight and he delivers another one that is just out of the reach of William Osula's outstretched leg.

Some Newcastle fans have their heads in their hands. They knew that was close.

  13. Postpublished at 20:38 GMT 10 March

    Atletico Madrid 4-1 Tottenham

    Elizabeth Conway
    BBC Sport Spanish football reporter

Atleti's Le Normand spoke to us yesterday in the presser and said, 'We have to be a very strong team offensively and defensively tomorrow to get the win."

I think he may have over-estimated Spurs.

  14. GREAT SAVE!published at 20:37 GMT 10 March

Ademola Lookman runs onto a superb threaded pass in behind the Spurs back line, but Guglielmo Vicario stays big and blocks the vicious shot.

Tottenham have got to go for this. They have got to show some fight.

Professional and personal pride is at stake here. You can blame anyone else, but you cross that white line as a player and it is up to you to stand-up.

  17. GREAT SAVE!published at 20:33 GMT 10 March

    Atalanta 0-3 Bayern Munich

Marco Carnesecchi has kept the deficit to three, for now, with a brilliant smothering stop after Nicolas Jackson was played clean through in the box after some more intricate approach play.

    Atletico Madrid 4-1 Tottenham

    Joe Hart
Former England goalkeeper on TNT Sports on Antonín Kinsky being subbed

I've been trying to make sense of it. My heart is absolutely broken for him [Kinsky]. He had a horrible 14 minutes, that slip and the third goal. I don't know what to say. I am just heartbroken for the lad. This Tottenham team is all over the place.

  19. Postpublished at 20:32 GMT 10 March

Richarlison gets his head to a free-kick but Jan Oblak makes a diving save.

The referee whistles for a foul anyway.

  20. 'Newcastle have been the better side'published at 20:32 GMT 10 March

    Newcastle 0-0 Barcelona

    Chris Waddle
Former Newcastle & England winger on BBC Radio 5 Live

I think Newcastle have been the better side, they have been in good areas but just let down by the final ball.

We know Barcelona play at their own pace but we know it could only take two or three Newcastle players to come off the pace.
