    Excellent from Shiho Kuwaki as she takes aim at the 17th green and safely finds the putting surface.

    She may or may not know what's going on behind her but she's given herself a birdie look from 15 feet or so.

  2. Woad -1 (17)

    Lottie Woad cuts a frustrated figure on the 17th.

    She nearly drains in a huge putt from the edge of the green for a birdie but it comes up an inch short.

    An easy tap-in for par.

  3. Hull -1 (17)

    Charley Hull whacks her tee shot at the 18th hole straight down the fairway.

    It's been a round of ifs, buts and maybes for the 30-year-old Englishwoman.

    Can she finish with a flourish?

  4. Kuwaki stays a shot clear

    Shiho Kuwaki gets out of sand trouble skilfully by the side of the 16th green to leave four feet for par.

    Carefully stroked in to keep her nose in front.

    Holes running out perhaps for Haeran Ryu but she stays in touch by rolling in from five feet.

  5. Henseleit holds but Noh bogeys

    Noh -4, Henseleit -4 (14)

    Gasps from the crowd at the 14th after a monster putt from just off the green from Yealimi Noh for a birdie goes agonisingly wide of the hole.

    Noh then misses nervy putt from four feet to drop a shot. She throws her head back in frustration.

    Esther Henseleit goes even closer with a birdie chance of her own before tapping in for par.

  6. Li -2 (15)

    Oof, what an effort from Lucy Li as she chips from off the green and watches her ball trundle round the edge of the cup and lip out.

    That would have taken her to three under par - but she'll stay at -2.

  7. End of the Woad?

    Woad -1 (16)

    A bogey for Lottie Woad at the 16th as a straightforward putt horseshoes round the hole.

    With two holes left to play the Englishwoman is four shots off the lead.

  8. The favourite?

    Kuwaki -5 (15)

    Shiho Kuwaki would be my favourite now.

    She's playing well this year whereas Yealimi Noh is not. She's used to playing well to win tournaments on the Japanese tour whereas Noh is used to fighting to make cuts.

    I would make her the one to beat.

  9. Kuwaki makes par

    A real chance for Shiho Kuwaki to take the outright lead at the 15th but her yellow ball skids past the hole from 14 feet.

    She'll have to settle for par, as does Haeran Ryu.

  10. Noh grabs a share of lead

    Noh -5, Henseleit -4 (13)

    A morale-boosting birdie for Yealimi Noh as she uses the broomhandle to slide one in from 10 feet at the 13th and go back to five under.

    The American now has a share of the lead.

    Esther Henseleit has to accept par.

  11. Woad misses birdie chance

    Woad -2 (15)

    Lottie Woad bends at the knees in frustration as a birdie putt goes begging at the 15th before tapping in for par.

    Woad needs to pull something out of the bag on the final three holes.

  12. Noh -4 (12)

    It’s a real mental battle for Yealimi Noh. She had a three-shot lead – but that is nothing in a major championship on a tough golf course like this.

    She’ll have known that coming in to the round today but she just needs to hang on.

    She only needs one shot to drop and it can turn around.

    Still a long way to go.

  13. Lucky 13th?

    Noh -4, Henseleit -4 (12),

    Yealimi Noh chips from the edge of the green to within striking distance of a birdie on the 13th.

    Esther Henseleit has a long chin wag with her caddie before she thuds a wedge out of the bunker to do likewise.

    Both of these players in with a shout of going five under and a share of the lead.

    Thumbs up if you think she might have a chance of a play-off.

  16. Par for the leader

    Now in the lead, Shiho Kuwaki sizes up a birdie putt from fully 50 feet.

    Beautifully judged as she rolls it close and knocks it in maintain her one-shot advantage.

    Haeran Ryu also sees a lengthy birdie attempt shave the edge. She looks dialled in at the moment but remains two back.

  17. Bogey for Noh

    Noh -4, Henseleit -4 (12)

    Yealimi Noh surrenders the lead after missing a par putt at the 12th.

    The pressure is getting to a few of these players now.

    Who will hold their nerve?

  18. Birdie for Henseleit

    Noh -5, Henseleit -4 (11)

    Yealimi Noh has a monster putt for a birdie on the 12th but it breaks to the left as it nears the hole and leaves the American with a knee knocker for par.

    Esther Henseleit's approach shot is much closer to the pin and she knocks in a birdie.

  19. Hull's hopes fading

    Hull -1, Ko +2 (15)

    Charley Hull keeps plugging away but is not quite getting the breaks at the moment as she goes close again with a birdie putt at the 15th.

    Three holes left for Hull. It's now or never.

  20. Hsu -2 (17)

    Serious trouble for Hsu Wei-ling at the 18th as she doesn't get out of the fairway bunker at the first attempt.

    Staring at minimum bogey in the face now and after such a good round, probably the best she can hope for is tying Nelly Korda's clubhouse lead at -2.
