The 22-year-old easily taps in for birdie.

Three shots off the lead and Woad is still in contention.

Charley Hull makes her par putt on the 12th and now drives the 13th green, well through it actually.

Can she get up and down for a birdie? This is wide open.

Haeran Ryu must be full of confidence having won the Women's PGA and Evian Championships, but now only two shots adrift of the lead, she whips her tee shot into a fairway bunker on the 11th.

Not what was called for.

Yealimi Noh chips out of the sand to leave herself a putt for a bogey from about six feet and the American is able to roll it in.

Noh breathes a sigh of relief.

All of a sudden, the leaderboard looks a lot more tightly grouped after consecutive bogeys for Noh - even if playing partner Esther Henseleit also drops a shot.

It's who panics the least.

Having a good, reliable caddie is really important while having a playing partner you're comfortable being around can make a real difference.

Esther Henseleit and Yealimi Noh probably don't have that.

She's just got to go through her processes. Whatever she has, she's going to need to do to stop dropping these shots.

Uh oh, are things are starting to unravel for Yealimi Noh?

She chips out of the rough at the eighth but it skids off the green and into a deep bunker.

Haeran Ryu gets up and down and takes a decent par on the ninth after missing the putting surface off the tee.

But it's even better from Shiho Kuwaki, who zips into three feet and taps in for birdie. She is yet to finish inside the top 10 of an LPGA major but is just two off the lead now.

Charley Hull pulls her tee shot on the 12th. She may well be in a bunker there and unless she can chip in it will be the first par-three hole she has failed to birdie today.

The world number seven gets out of the sand no problem but her ball scoots on about six feet. Big par putt incoming, especially given the 13th will be well in range off the tee, which has been moved forward so that the hole plays 267 yards for the final round (official yardage is 353 yards).

A blemish on the card for Yealimi Noh as she drops a shot at the seventh.

The American, using the broomhandle putter, misses a tricky putt from approximately 12 feet.

Germany's Esther Henseleit manages to slide in for par. She's within two shots of the leader and will be looking to apply some pressure on the leader.

Get in, get in, Charley Hull is urging her ball to drop on the 11th but it stays about and inch right and slides just past the cup. But it will be a birdie for the Englishwoman who moves back up to a tie for seventh.

It’s not playing difficult in terms of the wind but the course setup is proving capricious for the late starters.

There's probably quite a few players tramping the links right now who will agree with you, George.

But guess where's the men's Open is in 2028...

Lottie Woad chucks her ball up into the air and snatches it again before chuntering under breath.

The Englishwoman misses a putt for par on the ninth from about five feet and is absolutely furious with herself.

If Woad is going to get herself into contention she going to have to up her game on the back nine.

We've not mentioned Hsu Wei-ling but the Chinese Taipei golfer is putting together a terrific round a few holes in front of the later starters.

A third birdie in four holes since the turn has put her at -3 for the tournament - and that's good enough for a share of third.

Her turn to apply a touch of pressure.

Charley Hull takes a par on the 10th but now belts a three-wood down the 11th to find the green and give herself a look at an eagle.

Another birdie for Nelly Korda, this time at the 13th and she is into the red for the first time today.

That's six shots behind leader Yealimi Noh with just five holes left to play.

Yealimi Noh goes close with a birdie putt from about eight feet at the sixth, but it just fizzes wide of the hole and she rolls it in for par.

Noh was saying that she has a favourite little spot in Lytham for food and was talking about just how much she enjoys travelling and trying different foods out.

I wonder if that's included fish and chips while she's been staying on the Lancashire coast?

Anyway, Noh has not exactly had the best of times recently and admitted on Saturday that she was just happy to go under par in Thursday's opening round having missed three consecutive cuts prior to arriving at Royal Lytham & St. Annes.

Ranked 69th in the world (at the moment) she has only ever won once previously on the LPGA so she's in slightly unchartered territory this afternoon as she tries to close out a maiden major win.
