  2. There was a little drama at the end of the practice session.

    Red Bull's Max Verstappen had slowed down at the double yellow flags being waved but almost got into contact with the Williams of Carlos Sainz behind him.

    McLaren's Lando Norris is second and Max Verstappen's Red Bull is third.

    That is a race against time to get that car ready for qualifying! Huge damage on the rear right for Lewis. He's had a bit of a twitch, oversteer, through the corner.

  6. Ferrari are going to have to skip lunch today to get Lewis Hamilton's car ready for qualifying.

    Hamilton lets his engineer know he is OK but the car is not in good shape.

    Oh no! In the closing seconds of final practice, Lewis Hamilton has a massive crash. He runs wide onto the gravel and clips his rear wing. The same as Pierre Gasly on Friday.

    That is not ideal before qualifying!

    I'd rather see McLaren continue backing the drivers who helped return the team to championship contention. Oscar has earned the opportunity to fight for titles in papaya, and I don't think McLaren needs to disrupt that by signing Max.

    I think Kimi Antonelli will be sat there quite happy. OK, he wasn't able to improve his time but he knows there are probably two, three, even four tenths in his pocket with that mistake.

  13. 'Drivers struggling at Turn Nine'

    Everybody seems to be struggle at Jacky Ickx, Turn Nine, at the moment, the left-hander. I wonder if the wind has changed direction and is forcing people to have a little bit of a lack of front end in that section of the track.

    You could really hear the difference in power as Lando Norris went through sector three and through Blanchimont. The fact that he is having to downshift in a straight line once he got out of Blanchimont, just to keep up the revs and the power to go through towards the Bus Stop chicane.

  18. The two Aston Martins are at the bottom of the leaderboard.

    Both drivers will be handed grid penalties on Sunday for exceeding engine parts.

  19. McLaren's Lando Norris clocks in a fast lap and goes second fastest, one tenth behind Kimi Antonelli.

    Meanwhile, Antonelli was on a fast lap but has to abort as he did not get the gear.

    Everybody is going out and improving now on their second set of soft compound tyres.

    Better effort from George Russell but the question will be what has Kimi Antonelli got underneath him in these final 13 minutes.
