Ferrari pick up the phone to Charles Leclerc and the Monegasque driver answers. He needs to get himself in to the pits for a second stop, so in he comes and switches over to the medium compound.
McLaren have reacted to the Italian team's call. Lando Norris is in...
Away from the title fight, both Aston Martins are running in the top 10 - Lance Stroll one place higher than Fernando Alonso - and the two Haas drivers are also on for picking up points if the results finishing like this. Sauber's Gabriel Bortoleto is in ninth and will end his rookie season with a couple of points of he can stay put.
The race has settled into a rhythm now and Lando Norris in third has a decent buffer to the likes of Charles Leclerc in fourth and fifth-placed Geprge Russell, so he can sort of relax. Sort of.

Engineer: "We need our fastest stint to the end Max. We don't want to give away too much race time to Piastri, who will undoubtedly be quick on the medium."
Another lap goes by and race leader Oscar Piastri stays out on his starting hard tyre. Lewis Hamilton has made two trips into the pits and now the seven-time world champion is on the medium rubber. But he's still down in 14th place. However, he'll keep hold of sixth in the standings, as Kimi Antonello is further down the order in 19th.
The laps are ticking down and Lando Norris is edging closer and closer to his maiden world championship. All he has to do is finish on the podium tonight - he's currently third - and he's won the title. It doesn't matter where Max Verstappen and team-mate Oscar Piastri finish this race.

David in Wales: Tsunoda doing what he can for Verstappen but didn't work.
Hate it when team-mates get involved, should just be a clean straight race amongst the 3 without interference.
The Red Bull team bring in Yuki Tsunoda to serve his five-second time punishment. The Japanese driver waits patiently and then is back on his way in 18th place on he hard compound.
Max Verstappen on his eight-lap old hard tyres and is clocking fastest laps in his Red Bull. His team-mate Yuki Tsunoda has been informed of his five-second time penalty for weaving during his scrap with Lando Norris. The Japanese driver took it well...
The other McLaren of Oscar Piastri is leading the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix from Max Verstappen by 12 seconds but the Australian is on much older tyres than his rivals, as he's yet to pit.
Damon Hill 1996 world champion on BBC Radio 5 Live in Abu Dhabi
I agree with them, that was probably more Yuki Tsunoda leaving no room for Lando Norris to get past, so he had to basically move over off the track to avoid being hit by Tsunoda.
Norris has done the quickest lap of the race and has pulled a gap on Charles Leclerc, so that is really good news.

Simon in Sleaford: Think there is more joined up thinking to McLaren strategy here and think this scenario was thought about pre race and maybe is Plan A
Chris in Wales: I think Piastri will make or break the championship for Lando.
