Damon Hill 1996 world champion on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra in Miami
There is a little bit of action happening here as Alex Albon has a look at Carlos Sainz. We have got two teams with two drivers on the same bit of track, the Haas and the Williams, there's all to play for, in the pride stakes for these drivers.

It's the case of Red Bull beating the battle of the inverted rear-wing teams as Verstappen seemed to have a better tow than the Ferrari of Hamilton. It's the same place he overtook Lewis on the previous lap, this time he makes it stick. Lewis is going to have to follow the gearbox of Max. Looks like Max has the pace now.
Carlos Sainz, who had strong words for his Williams team after being eliminated in SQ1 yesterday, is trying to hassle the other Haas of Oliver Bearman for P13. The Briton isn't ready to give up position just yet, so the Spaniard will have to try again on the next lap.
What is interesting here is that the quickest race pace here was Charles Leclerc. George Russell was struggling with his car and Kimi Antonelli was faster than him both on race pace and qualifying pace.

Lap 10/19
Round two of the Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen bout and the four-time world champion comes out on top. Verstappen is late on the brakes at Turn 17 and overtakes Ferrari's Hamilton to take back sixth place.
Lewis Hamilton flags to his pit wall the Red Bull of Max Verstappen took the place off the track, so the Dutchman needs to give the position back. It's like the old days with these two multiple champions fighting for supremacy.

George [Russell] is having a move and it looks like he has got past Kimi [Antonelli] there. Kimi was definitely feeling the pressure and Lewis Hamilton was closing up on the back of Russell. Can he get him back?
George Russell passes Kimi Antonelli for fourth place but the Italian holds his nerve and retakes the position around the outside of the Briton a few corners later.
Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen are also squabbling and the pair end up off the track as they fight for sixth place.
The battle of the Mercedes pair is still ongoing but the opportunities for George Russell to ovetake haven't presented themselves just yet. He may get a chance now, though...
George Russell is closing in on his teenage team-mate Kimi Antonelli for fourth place, just as Max Verstappen calls Red Bull to say his car isn't feeling quite so positive today. The Dutchman is in seventh, with Pierre Gasly in the Alpine just behind.
The second Alpine of Franco Colapinto, who outqualified his team-mate Pierre Gasly in sprint qualifying, is just outside the points places after the opening few laps. If he wants to pick up a prize today, the Frenchman is his first target to pass.
The fastest lap stopwatch is parked by the upgraded McLaren of race leader Lando Norris, as the replays show Kimi Antonelli's lethargic start in the Mercedes. Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen also had a scrap off the line, and it's the seven-time world champion who is ahead now in sixth.

It is fairly typical of what we have seen in the first races of the season, I thought I saw Kimi Antonelli get overtaken by George Russell but he must have got him back somewhere. This is the ebb and flow, backwards and forwards with the deployment there, battery power.
Fifth poor start in a row for Kimi Antonelli in five races this year. However, crucially, he has kept ahead of his team-mate George Russell with the championship picture in mind.
Lando Norris made a clean getaway off the line and is 1.5 seconds clear of his McLaren team-mate Oscar Piastri. Charles Leclerc is still trying to hold off the attack of Kimi Antonelli, who lost his position next to Norris at lights out.
