George Russell after finishing fourth: "Not much happier. I struggle on this track, it's very low grip. The car is sliding, I'm two places forward but not much happier. The improvements from Ferrari, McLaren and Red Bull are daunting."

Mercedes' Kimi Antonelli on his race starts: "We have been doing work over the break and on my side, for once, I did everything right with the procedures so we need to check what happened. The grip was very low, probably lower than we expected.
"After that I was frustrated, I didn't even drive well, I made a lot of mistakes, I got track limits, which is something I need to avoid. This weekend has been more difficult, but it was expected with everyone bringing big upgrades. We have just got to maximise the results, now we focus on the qualifying."

Ferrari's Charles Leclerc, who finishes third in the sprint race: "The upgrades worked well, so thanks to the team for their massive work. I am satisfied with that, I am not satisfied with P3. But McLaren have done a big step forward.
"Hopefully we can start higher on Sunday and make our life a bit easier."

McLaren's Lando Norris, who wins the sprint from pole position: "It was a good race, nice to be back on the top step, even if it is the sprint. It was a good day for us, massive job to the team in bringing the upgrades. It feels like everyone is saying the same thing, but ours have really helped this weekend. Happy to get it done for the team.
"It was hot out there, it was sweaty but I was still pushing, trying to find that balance, but also being quite relaxed and not making mistakes so a good start to the weekend and we have to do it all over again."
On whether the car will need adjustments for qualifying: "Probably not too many. It's worked so far. We will change a couple of things. There are a couple of things I want to be different from yesterday that we will adjust. So hopefully we have a bit more to come, but I'm sure the others will too. We will keep our head down and keep pushing."
Lando is just stood on the top of his car, he got weighed then came over to celebrate with his team. It's not a pumping celebration, the events of today and the death of Alex Zanardi has led it to be slightly subdued. You can't blame them, he was such an icon of racing and the drivers do get affected.
With Kimi Antonelli picking up a five-second time penalty, that means Mercedes team-mate George Russell is now fourth and Red Bull's Max Verstappen is fifth.
Lewis Hamilton finishes the Miami sprint in seventh and Pierre Gasly collects another point for Alpine in eighth.
McLaren secure a one-two finish in the Miami sprint race, with Lando Norris taking victory ahead of team-mate Oscar Piastri!
Ferrari's Charles Leclerc finishes third but Kimi Antonelli, who ends his sprint in fourth, has been handed a five-second time penalty for exceeding track limits too many time. The Italian drops down the order to the sixth place.
Lando Norris is cruising in the lead and is getting ready to celebrate his fourth career sprint victory.
Esteban Ocon and Oliver Bearman are having a little Haas intra-team scrap for 12th place but Frenchman Ocon is able to swat away any advances to finish ahead of the Briton.
McLaren 'outpacing' Mercedespublished at 17:33 BST 2 May

We're wondering now whether this is a change in order because McLaren are looking very comfortable and outpacing Mercedes. We thought Mercedes had so much in hand at the start of the season.
The pressure has eased slightly on Oscar Piastri in that chase with Charles Leclerc, as the Ferrari driver has a little wobble and goes wide on his latest lap. Lando Norris is heading to victory in the other papaya car, with Pierre Gasly on for picking up the final points place in eighth.
It's all gone a bit quiet out on track as the laps tick away in this second sprint of the season. Isack Hadjar has managed to pass the Alpine of Franco Colapinto for ninth place, but the move isn't good enough to pick up points today.
The Ferrari of Charles Leclerc in third isn't too far from Oscar Piastri's McLaren but the Australian is managing to keep the Monegasque driver at bay, while his papaya team-mate and sprint leader Lando Norris clocks another fastest lap.
Alex Albon came into the pits, they are changing the front wing. It takes around 10 seconds to change it, let's see how it goes. It's a screw-in but actually quite complicated. They're making a bit of a hash of it but he will come back out in the Williams but drop down to the end of the field.

Lando is looking comfortable at the front, he is stretching away. The view you get from Oscar's car, looking ahead at his team-mate up the road, you start to get that sinking feeling.
Charles Leclerc is inching closer to the McLaren of Oscar Piastri for that second place behind Lando Norris, who is comfotable at the front of the field from pole position.
