  1. ouch!

    Ouch!published at 18:16 GMT 29 November 2025

    Kilmarnock 0-0 Dundee United

Luca Stephenson took a knock to the head and has had to be bandaged up.

United's on-loan Liverpool wide man seems to be okay to continue, though, and play resumes.

Up the other end, Brad Lyons sends in a dangerous ball from the right, Bruce Anderson is running in, but it is just too far in front of the Killie forward.

  2. Postpublished at 18:10 GMT 29 November 2025

    Kilmarnock 0-0 Dundee United

That's a lovely ball from Luca Stephenson.

It meets the feet of Max Watters, he tees up Will Ferry and the midfielder's shot from the edge of the box zips over the crossbar.

    FT: Motherwell 0-0 Hearts

Hearts' balloon is losing a lot of air. Reminds me of the Dons last season. Third place is more likely.

    Sean

Ever the pragmatist, Derek McInnes will be happy with that 0-0 after recent results. Motherwell looked like the only team trying to win that and Hearts had their two sitting midfielders so far back it was almost like a back six they were playing with.

    Hamish

Derek McInnes and Hearts dropping points for a third game in a row and giving advantage to Celtic. How quickly the pendulum swings.

  4. Three shocks in Scottish Cuppublished at 18:06 GMT 29 November 2025

    Scottish Cup, third round

Auchinleck Talbot, Camelon and Cove Rangers have caused the shocks of the day in the Scottish Cup third round.

Sixth-tier Auchinleck are no strangers to beating senior sides, but a 4-0 win away to League 2 promotion chasers Dumbarton is still impressive.

Cove sit second bottom of League 1, so to beat a St Johnstone side leading the league above - and away from home - 2-1, albeit after extra time, is equally impressive.

Meanwhile, East of Scotland side Camelon beat League 2 visitors Edinburgh City 2-1.

League 2 Stranraer also needed extra time to beat Lowland League visitors Clydebank, while second-tier Morton needed penalties to beat League 1 hosts Peterhead.

  6. PENALTY to Dundee Unitedpublished at 17:59 GMT 29 November 2025

    Kilmarnock 0-0 Dundee United

Kilmarnock defender Ethan Schilte Brown clatters into Krisztian Keresztes inside his own box and the referee points to the spot!

VAR are having a look at this one but the decision stands!

  7. Postpublished at 17:57 GMT 29 November 2025

    Kilmarnock 0-0 Dundee United

Kilmarnock win a free-kick just on the edge of the centre circle inside United's half, it's sent goalwards and bobbles around the box before United clear for a Killie throw in.

  8. Postpublished at 17:55 GMT 29 November 2025

    Kilmarnock 0-0 Dundee United

    Some nice play from Kilmarnock.

Marley Watkins gets on to Scott Tiffoney's pass inside the United box and gets his strike away, but defender Ross Graham manages to clear any danger.

A bright start from the hosts.

  9. St Mirren 'in a relegation battle' - Robinsonpublished at 17:52 GMT 29 November 2025

    FT: Dundee 3-1 St Mirren

St Mirren manager Stephen Robinson tells BBC Scotland: "It's the same old story unfortunately - 18-yard box to 18-yard box, really good. We had 18 shots, only three on target.

"They have eight shots, four on target and score three goals. That's the difference. They take their opportunities. It's not good enough, not acceptable.

"I can keep saying the performances are decent, but the bits that matter are in the boxes and we've not done either well enough.

"If you look at the table, it has to [resonate] with the players. We've tip-toed around it a little. We live in a society where you can't tell people the truth sometimes, you can't shout at them. You have to do it differently, but I've made it very clear to them - we are in a relegation battle."

  10. Postpublished at 17:50 GMT 29 November 2025

    Kilmarnock 0-0 Dundee United

A very early chance for the visitors as Will Ferry fires over pretty much straight from kick-off.

United send it back to their goalkeeper, Dave Richards, he lashes it up the park and Ferry latches on to the loose ball but can't keep his effort down.

  11. KICK-OFFpublished at 17:47 GMT 29 November 2025

We're under way in the final game of the day.

It's back to the Premiership with two sides who are struggling at present, Kilmarnock at home to Dundee United.

  13. McInnes thinks he has answerspublished at 17:45 GMT 29 November 2025

    FT: Motherwell 0-0 Hearts

Hearts head coach Derek McInnes tells BBC Scotland: "Motherwell had slightly the better of the first half. We had some good moments on the break but were wasteful.

"I wanted us to be a bit more positive and we spoke about that at half-time. We kept them away from our door for a half-hour period and I'm annoyed we've not capitalised on that.

"For the last 15 minutes, we stopped doing what we were doing and took a step back.

"Over the course of the piece, I think a point was enough and fair. We didn't do enough to win it and that's frustrating. We'll take the point.

"We weren't getting too high when we were winning. We're returning a good points tally at the minute. We just need to get back to showing that attacking threat. We feel we've got the answers in the building."

  14. Davies and Morton survive scarepublished at 17:43 GMT 29 November 2025

FT: Peterhead 2-2 Greenock Morton (3-5 on pens)

Second-tier Morton scrape through to the Scottish Cup fourth round after a penalty shoot-out.

League 1 part-timers gave them a fright though as Billy Davies leads his side to victory in his first game as caretaker boss.

  15. Goodwin explains goalkeeping changepublished at 17:40 GMT 29 November 2025

    Kilmarnock v Dundee United (17:45)

Dundee United manager Jim Goodwin tells BBC Scotland: "It's been well highlighted the goals that we conceded last week against Falkirk. I had a big decision to make and Dave Richards has the opportunity tonight.

"Yevhen Kucherenko isn't in the squad. Some cynical people will probably read into that ,but the honest reply is that he picked up a calf strain in training, so he's probably going to be out three or four weeks with that niggle.

"He's an honest boy, understands the situation and I've tried to be as fair as possible with him. I don't like changing that particular position, but we felt it was the right thing to do for the player and the team. He understands the reasoning behind that decision."

  16. 'Robinson can recover'published at 17:37 GMT 29 November 2025

    FT: Dundee 3-1 St Mirren

    Rory Loy
Former Falkirk striker on BBC Sportsound

Stephen Robinson has been through a similar period in his St Mirren career maybe once before, but I'm not sure it was as poor as this.

If credit in the bank means anything, Robinson is worth a fortune. I think he's more than capable of finishing the league strongly.

  17. Peterhead and Morton into penaltiespublished at 17:35 GMT 29 November 2025

    Scottish Cup, third round

Elgin have beaten Stirling 4-2 after extra time and Stranraer have edged Clydebank 2-1.

But Peterhead and Morton are into a penalty shoot out after their 2-2 draw.

  18. Askou 'enjoyed' Well performancepublished at 17:35 GMT 29 November 2025

    FT: Motherwell 0-0 Hearts

Motherwell manager Jens Berthel Askou tells BBC Scotland: "It should, could [have been three points].

"We gave ourselves the opportunity and that's the main thing. We knew it was going to be a difficult game and I didn't expect it to end 0-0. We were very close to getting a goal.

"We kept pushing, fought well throughout the spell in the second half where Hearts had momentum.

"We then had some really big moments where we could have taken all three points.

"I hope that people enjoyed the performance - I did. I'm not going to lose much sleep because we got the performance we hoped for."

  19. Cove shock Saints in cuppublished at 17:32 GMT 29 November 2025

FT: St Johnstone 1-2 Cove Rangers (aet)

Championship leaders St Johnstone have suffered a shock Scottish Cup defeat at home to League 1 strugglers Cove.

Three other third-round ties are near the end of extra time.

  20. Kettlewell expects togethernesspublished at 17:29 GMT 29 November 2025

    Kilmarnock v Dundee United (17:45)

Kilmarnock manager Stuart Kettlewell tells BBC Scotland: "You have to ensure your players are together, you have to be sure everybody is on the same page, that they've got a hunger to get themselves out of that position.

"There's nothing tactical in that, it's literally what's in your dressing room. The second half against Motherwell shows we have that, despite the result.

"There's a real unity. We won't get out of this in groups of one and two. We have to be together and I think we've got that.

"There's disappointment, frustration and anger at conceding goals and losing games, but I'm okay with that. There has to be a real frustration at where we've come up short. This week there's been plenty of players sticking their hand up to go and play."
