  3. What's at stake?published at 14:07 GMT 29 November 2025

    Scottish Premiership

As mentioned, Hearts face a difficult trip to Fir Park as they look to extend their lead at the top of the Premiership to seven points, albeit Celtic will have two games in hand by then.

Hosts Motherwell can, meanwhile, leapfrog Hibernian into third.

At the other end of the table, Dundee start the day in second bottom, one point behind visitors and two places behind visitors St Mirren.

Kilmarnock sit in between those two as they entertain seventh-placed Dundee United in the 17:45 GMT kick-off.

  4. Macintyre reveals cancer diagnosispublished at 14:04 GMT 29 November 2025

    BBC Radio Scotland

Earlier, Sportsound host Kenny Macintyre made the brave announcement that he has been diagnosed with prostate cancer.

The 57-year-old announced the news on air during Off the Ball while talking to presenters Tam Cowan and Stuart Cosgrove.

Kenny, from Dunblane, said he pushed for three-monthly tests due to his family history - three of his uncles had the disease. He will soon undergo treatment.

His announcement comes as a UK expert body recommended that only men with a confirmed genetic risk of prostate cancer should be screened for the disease.

I'm sure all our readers and listeners will join me in wishing Kenny well.
