Wigan need to start marking properly if they don't want to concede again.

It's all about someone taking responsibility which they are not doing at the moment.

They're working hard but they're yet to test the keeper.

  2. CLOSE!published at 15:14 GMT 7 March

  3. CLOSE!published at 15:12 GMT 7 March

    Tranmere 0-0 Oldham

Oldham have, perhaps unsurprisingly, started this one the more confident of the two teams.

Kane Drummond fires a ball across the face of goal but Jack Stevens can't get the telling touch and Tranmere eventually clear the danger.

    Bolton 0-0 Wycombe

Thierry Gale is like lightning up the left to rattle off a shot but Chairboys keeper Will Norris gets his leg out to see it out for a corner.

Bolton won't stop coming though. They go again with a ball in the box but it's cleared out before it reaches Sam Dalby.

    I can't believe it!

As a Lincoln fan I can remember the relegation out of the football league and now this. Keep waiting for us to lose and tail off but it's not happening.

  6. CLOSE!published at 15:09 GMT 7 March

    MK Dons 0-0 Harrogate

Oh this is a really good chance for the visitors to break the deadlock early on.

Jack Evans thinks he's scored, coming on to a Reece Smith cross.

He sends a shot goalwards from close range but MK Dons keeper Craig MacGillivray gets down low with a strong hand to keep the game goalless.

It's a quality delivery, as soon as it hits his head I knew it was in.

The ball from Jordan Brown is terrific. Blackpool need to build on it now.

    It's the perfect start.

Bit of team news to tell you about from Stadium MK.

Curtis Nelson misses out and is replaced in a three-man defence by Luke Offord while Aaron Collins is back in the starting line-up for the home side.

And it's a welcome return for Harrogate's star winger Stephen Duke-McKenna who makes his first start for the Sulphurites since early November having recovered from a broken metatarsal.

MK Dons host League Two basement boys Harrogate Town this afternoon off the back of a run of just one defeat from their past 16 matches in all competitions.

That run of form has seen them go from League Two promotion hopefuls to having their destiny in their own hands with just 12 matches to go and will be buoyed from picking up a stoppage-time equaliser at promotion rivals Cambridge United last Saturday.

Despite sitting bottom, Harrogate should go into today's match with confidence of their own as they are unbeaten in their previous five League Two outings.

Unfortunately for Simon Weaver's side, relegation rivals Newport County have also improved recently too, but they have managed to reel in fellow strugglers Crawley Town and Barrow and are now just one point from fourth-tier safety.

Can they make it six games unbeaten and put further pressure on the sides around them by approximately 5pm today?

  14. Watertight Latics travel to Tranmerepublished at 14:57 GMT 7 March

    Tranmere v Oldham (15:00 GMT)

It has been an excellent few weeks for Oldham Athletic.

The Latics have picked up three wins and a draw from their last four matches, keeping a clean sheet in all of them, with goalkeeper Mathew Hudson being a part of 14 shut-outs so far this season - a joint-league record.

Today, they take the short trip to Prenton Park to take on a Tranmere Rovers side who are badly out of form, losing all of their last four League Two matches - including a 3-1 defeat by bottom club Newport County on Tuesday.

Rovers now sit just seven points above the dreaded dotted line, having lost five of their last six home league games. They will be looking to avoid losing six in a seven-match stint for the first time in the same EFL campaign since May 2015 when they were relegated to the National League.

    Crawley v Swindon (15:00 GMT)

Ian Holloway's Swindon Town take the long trip to Sussex this afternoon, starting the day outside the top three places on goal difference.

Holloway, who turns 63 on Thursday, was sent off in his side's last outing - a 1-1 draw with former club Bristol Rovers - and will serve a one-match touchline ban in this afternoon's clash against struggling Crawley Town.

The Red Devils are led by Scott Lindsey, who initially joined the club from Swindon in January 2023.

But now in his second spell at the club, Crawley sit just one point clear of the relegation zone following two wins from their past 20 league matches - the worst run of form of any of the current bottom four sides in League Two.

Swindon have failed to score in just two of their 17 away league games this season - can they get back to winning ways after picking up just one point from their last two games?

  16. Can Wigan make it two in a row to keep out of trouble?published at 14:48 GMT 7 March

    Blackpool v Wigan (15:00 GMT)

Wigan Athletic's euphoric win over promotion-chasers Huddersfield last time out seems like it could be the perfect kind of result to propel a run that will see them out of harm's way.

But, confidence might not be as sky high as one would think.

The Latics may be facing a Blackpool side on equal points and in equal threat of falling into the bottom four with a loss today, but the side haven't won two league matches successively since April 2024.

The Tangerines also took a 2-0 win in the reverse fixture - can Wigan reap revenge and finally string together victories to save them from dropping closer to relegation?

  17. Can Wycombe go from potential zeros to heroes?published at 14:45 GMT 7 March

    Bolton v Wycombe (15:00 GMT)

Wycombe's season has had quite the turnaround.

Not all that long ago their fans were bracing for a relegation battle, and in the blink of an eye, they've reached sixth place and are now promotion hunters.

But if the Chairboys want a chance to really make their season remarkable, they'll have to do it the hard way.

Five of their six remaining away games are against top-seven opponents, and before they get to the challenging task of taking on top two Cardiff and Lincoln, today they have to try and challenge third-placed Bolton.

But for Wycombe boss Michael Duff, the play-offs don't feel the unachievable dream they probably felt like a few short weeks ago.

"We've been in five months now, I think we were 22nd, and pretty much the last four have been 'can we get away from the bottom four?'," Duff told BBC Radio 3CR.

"The carrot is there now - whether we do it or not is another thing."

  18. Bantams with nowhere to hidepublished at 14:42 GMT 7 March

Bradford v Leyton Orient (15:00 GMT)

Bradford City boss Graham AlexanderImage source, Shutterstock

Based on league position, this seems like a game Leyton Orient won't want.

Inside the bottom four, a point away from safety and now having to face fourth-placed Bradford City on their favoured home turf to see if they can break out of relegation hell.

Only the Bantams' fantastic start to the season seems to be getting wobbly and two losses in their past three league games (W1) leaves them seven points inside the play-off positions. Safe for now, but uncomfortable.

But still, they've only displeased the Valley Parade faithful with two home losses all season and the only way to look is up if they want to secure that second successive promotion.

"There's no hiding place in football," Bradford captain Max Power told BBC Radio Leeds.

"Games are going to come thick and fast. Before you know it, we'll be into single-digit games, and we're going to come to the business end of the season. We just need to look to improve, that's all we can do."
