Pep Guardiola's programme notes are largely focused on the task in front of Manchester City this afternoon.

He reflects on the previous title successes during the Sheikh Mansour era and reminds everyone of the task in hand, whilst calling on them to get totally behind his team.

"We have a chance to make history by winning four titles in a row," he says.

"I could not be prouder of this football club, no matter what happens.

"Our job today is simple: we have to win - WE NEED TO FEEL YOUR ENERGY AND HEAR YOUR NOISE. LET'S DO THIS."

Three Liverpool fans have been telling BBC Newsbeat about the emotional day ahead as they bid farewell to Jurgen Klopp.

Abigail Rudkin tells BBC Newsbeat fans will “sit there and take in the emotions”.

“If he starts to cry, I’ll start to cry.”

While she’d have preferred to be in the title race, not being involved means Klopp “can sit there and relax and take it in and not be anxious the whole time”.

“The moment he starts to walk down the tunnel and that’s his last goodbye, I’ll be absolutely devastated. We’ve all just got to bring the tissues with us.”

Courtney Neary feels Klopp’s legacy is up there with the greats of Bill Shankly and Bob Paisley.

“Him and his backroom staff will get looked at like that for years to come.”

Lewis Aspinall says Klopp has “single handedly given me some of the happiest moments of my life”.

“He took us from a point where we didn’t think we could win trophies. He made us believers, when we really shouldn’t have been.”

I can only see one outcome here. Mohamed Salah to score, Liverpool to go out with a bang under Jurgen Klopp, and send him off with a smile.

Wolves are not in great form, with only one win - and seven defeats - from their past 10 matches, and they have not been good enough as of late.

They were the club who triggered the vote over the future of video assistant referees (VAR) this summer, and they have been wronged by it this season, but Gary O'Neil needs to focus on their performances rather than decisions that are out of their control.

This game is all about Klopp and Liverpool, though. It is going to be an emotional day and I don't think there will be many dry eyes at Anfield - I'll be crying myself, even though I won't be there.

Being serious though, I am gutted he is going because he is a brilliant manager and his departure is an enormous loss to the Premier League as well as to Liverpool.

Klopp is spiky at times, but he always says what he thinks and I admire that. Most football fans will be really sad to see him go, whoever they support.

As well as what Klopp has what won, you have to appreciate how he has pushed City so hard in the seasons where they edged Liverpool to the title. He built an excellent team that could challenge them, and, without him, City would have dominated even more than they have done.

Well, the time has come.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp will finally make his final farewell to the side he has been in charge of since 2015.

His nine-year tenure will come to an end today in front of an emotional Anfield crowd.

A tenure which has included one Premier League title, one Champions League title, one FA Cup and two League Cups and many other special memories.

He'll be missed on Merseyside and undoubtedly there'll be a special send off planned for him at Anfield.

My son James thinks West Ham are going to win at Etihad Stadium but he's wrong.

Four of City's seven Premier League triumphs have gone down to the final day, and they went at least one goal down in three of them.

This one will be different, because I don't just think City will win, I am expecting them to wrap it up early and seal a record fourth Premier League title in a row without any last-day drama.

Like most people, I am sick of them winning but you have to admire them because they are an absolute machine.

The way they put their foot down, even on Tuesday night when Tottenham pushed them, is so impressive. They are a brilliant all-round team who have players who can come off the bench and impact the game, and their manager is a genius.

Pep Guardiola seems to win every title in a different style, and his team never stops evolving.

This season I have been particularly impressed with the physicality which has got them through the campaign. Also, there we were thinking Erling Haaland has not been very good, but he is going to walk away with another Golden Boot.

They are a remarkable group of players to keep going on these runs of results that take them to the title season after season. I know I am talking about them as if they have already won it but I don't see any other outcome, because of how relentless they are, and their resilience, quality and mental strength.

Everyone talks about the Premier League being the best in the world and part of the reason for that is because it is the most competitive. City have come through some difficult games this season, but they always produce when they are under pressure.

Well played to them, again. I just feel a bit sorry for West Ham boss David Moyes because this is his final game in charge and it could not be any more difficult.

No matter what the outcome of today's game - I am trying to work out if someone whose actions can be so manic as Pep Guardiola could actually compute what was happening if Manchester City didn't win the title - the Blues boss is staying on.

He has a year left on his City contract but after last season's Treble, the prospect of a history-making fourth successive title and a double Double wouldn't give him much more to achieve.

But, asked if he will still be here next season, his answer was to the point.

"Yes," he said. "I have a contract. I want to be here next season."

Manchester City are no strangers to final day heroics. The title race has gone down to the final day nine times before in the Premier League era with Pep Guardiola's side involved in each of the past four occasions, and crowned champions every time.

Plus, no side who has started the final day not in first place has ended it as champions.

In just a few hours, another Premier League season will come to an end. We've had twists, turns and arguably the most gripping top-flight title race ever.

As we've said, Manchester City just need to win. But on some occasions it hasn't been all that straight forward for them. From late drama against Aston Villa to "Agueroooo" - they've done it the tough way a few times now.

The fate of Sheffield United and Burnley has already been decided and both will be playing in the Championship next season.

Luton Town are not officially down but it will take an unlikely set of circumstances to save them from joining the two already relegated side.

The Hatters, who occupy 18th spot, go into the final day three points behind 17th-placed Nottingham Forest.

But even if Forest lose at Burnley and Luton beat Fulham at home, it will require a 12-goal swing to save the Hatters, whose goal difference is -31 compared to Forest's -19.

Champions League places have already been settled with fourth-placed Aston Villa having their spot in Europe confirmed this week when Manchester City beat Tottenham. They will be joined by City, Arsenal and Liverpool.

Tottenham, Chelsea, Newcastle and Manchester United are in contention for Europa League and Europa Conference League places.

The team that finishes fifth will play in the Europa League.

Spurs, who are at relegated Sheffield United, start in fifth on 63 points but have faded badly, losing five of their past six games to miss out on the Champions League.

Chelsea, sixth on 60 points, are at home to mid-table Bournemouth.

Mauricio Pochettino's side start the day in a Conference League play-off round spot but can still snatch a place in the Europa League. Not only do they have a superior goal difference over Spurs, Chelsea go into the final day on the back of four straight wins.

Finishing sixth will also be enough to qualify for the Europa League if Manchester City defeat Manchester United in the FA Cup final on 25 May.

With a 57-point tally, Newcastle (away v Brentford) and Manchester United (away v Brighton) are seventh and eighth respectively.

Seventh will be enough for the Europa Conference League only if Manchester City win the FA Cup.

Manchester City will clinch a historic fourth successive league title if they defeat ninth-placed West Ham at Etihad Stadium.

But Arsenal, who trail City by two points, will be champions for the first time since 2004 if they beat Everton at Emirates Stadium and City fail to win.

If Guardiola's men draw and Arsenal win, both teams will finish on 89 points with the Gunners starting the final day with a slender goal difference advantage (+61) over City (+60).

Let's get straight into this then, no faffing about. Here's what's on the line today...

Here we go then - 370 games over nine months and it all comes down to 10 matches on a sunny afternoon in May.

Today, we will find out which of holders Manchester City or Arsenal will be Premier League champions.
