There was about an hour to wait before Manchester City even arrived at the stadium this afternoon when I took this picture.

There is a real light atmosphere around the ground and I don't get the impression many people think this day will end with anything other than another City Premier League title.

However, 12-year-old Morgan, from Galway in the Republic of Ireland, was taking nothing for granted when I chatted with him and his family earlier.

"Manchester City are a very good club and play a fantastic style under Pep Guardiola," he said.

"My favourites as Kevin de Bruyne and Julian Alvarez."

Arsenal are not far away. They need Pep to go and when he goes they will win the title, it's as plain and simple as that.

Arsenal have been fantastic and any other season, or if Manchester City weren't in the league, they win the Premier League because they have been fantastic under Mikel Arteta.

They will rue the Aston Villa game. Losing that Aston Villa game was the turning point, but credit to them this season.

The players they have brought in have all made an impact. Havertz has been outstanding and there is a role for him in that team, but they still need a number nine and I think they will go get that person in the summer. When they do get that they will be competing with City again and pushing them right to the wire again.

Everton boss Sean Dyche says the possibility of Arsenal winning the title is of "no interest" to him.

"I'm not bothered with it," he said.

"It's more about us continuing the thought process and mentality we've put in place this season. We're on a good show of form for our own reasons and it's about keeping that mentality going into the final game. It's more focusing on us going and performing.

"It'll be very difficult. The way they've performed and grown as the season's gone on, they're a top side. Currently there's another top side who are doing just as good, if not a slightly better job - as the league table would suggest. They're having a great season."

We've had "99 Red Balloons" by German singer Nena, "Don't You Forget About Me" by Simple Minds, "All Things Must Pass" by George Harrison and latterly "I'm A Believer" by The Monkees - a reference to Klopp's opening day mission statement that he had to turn Liverpool from "doubters to believers".

I was chatting to a family of West Ham fans earlier, admittedly before news of Jarrod Bowen's absence was known.

They were not entirely without hope today, although one of them did say it would be typical of West Ham to lead, concede an 88th minute equaliser, then lose in injury time.

They also dismissed the idea they thought the same way as many Tottenham fans, who actively wanted their team to lose against Manchester City on Tuesday.

"I just want West Ham to win, it doesn't matter who they are playing," said Simon.

There's a post from an Arsenal fan on 'X', formerly Twitter, that has gone viral on the platform. In December of last year, they posted that they had a dream that Arsenal were two points behind on the final day.

Manchester City lost their match and centre back Gabriel scored a last minute header to give Arsenal the title.

If that happens, that would be an incredible turnaround and they will have to be asked for the lottery numbers next weekend.

West Ham United

West Ham defender Aaron Cresswell, speaking to Sky Sports: "He [David Moyes] has been here for four-to-five years and I have been here every step of the way. He has been fantastic for me personally, the things we have achieved in that time is fantastic."

On spoiling Man City's title hopes: "We are not focused on that, we are here to do a job. We have to be professional, we are representing West Ham. But, Dec [former West Ham player Declan Rice] has been on the phone!

"They [Man City] are a fantastic team and it's always going to be tough coming here."

We have got used to Scott Carson's presence around Manchester City as their third choice keeper.

He is on the bench today due to the injury to Ederson.

Carson's last appearance was for 17 minutes as a substitute in March 2022 against Sporting Lisbon.

A blow for Arsenal to be without Bukayo Saka. The club have revealed it's a slight muscle issue that has kept him out of the squad today.

He's had an excellent season and scored 16 goals and got nine assists in the league.

The Gunners will be hoping they don't end up missing him in a game they have to win to have any chance of winning the title.

Well, the order’s come through here at his beloved Kenilworth Road as the sun prepares to set on Luton’s Premier League presence.

Unless they pull off a miracle 12-goal swing and Nottingham Forest lose, that is.

This doesn’t feel like a relegation wake at all.

Every Luton fan I’ve seen so far is grinning from ear-to-ear, walking up to the ground in a joyous mood.

This is more like a celebration of what this club has achieved.They’ve reached the top after a climb out of non-league and into the promised land.

And this season alone has seen some memorable wins along with the sad moments.
