On finishing 13th: "The season as a whole definitely is a successful season. I cannot hide that before the last international break we were in our best moment of the season.
"That was the moment for us to fight for something more, some positions higher in the table and the reaction after the international break wasn't the best at all and we lost some important points during that period. In terms of points, we have five less than last season but overall a very good season for us. I had the feeling that we could go a bit higher."

I think the way we played and created chances, we had the chances to score more goals. I am so happy with the run in the last part of the season. On European football: "For the history of Chelsea, it is hard to celebrate but It is the first step to achieve bigger things after. We are really close. Season by season it is about improving. We know how we need to compete next season. We have a young squad but with more experience in the Premier League now."
On Thiago Silva: "It is a pleasure and honour to coach someone like him in my team. He is one of the greatest players ever. Amazing professonal and his career is amazing. The problem now is how we will miss him."
On Chelsea future: "That is a question for the owners and the sporting director."

He's a brilliant manager on the pitch but behind closed doors and in his office, he's helped me too.
"I'm so proud of some of these guys and happy for them. People like [Mateo] Kovacic, what a brilliant guy. He's played every minute in the last few weeks and then today he doesn't and he's took it so well. So proud."

Was history driving the team on? "I think so, I think so. We went out of the Champions League, got into the FA Cup final, but to do this, make it four in a row, it made it something special.
"We all knew the game at Tottenham, once we got over that hurdle, then it is in touching distance. To come here and play in front of our ow fans, where we haven't lost all season... We had the crowd behind us, we had the momentum and we had the confidence as well."
On how much the four in a row was discussed: "It has been spoken about all year what we can achieve and the history we can make. But it is about the finer details. It was down to just one game and that game was West Ham United. We get past that then we make history but more importantly we claim the Premier League again.
"It is a very, very tough league to win. I looked at the Italian league, German league, Spanish league, the winners are 10-15 points clear. Fair play to Arsenal and Liverpool for what they have done throughout the season, making sure they push us right to the limit."

On today’s performance: "We had a lot of chances to score especially in the first half as well. First part of second half, we were playing in the same way we closed the first half. "Some players have been training very well and not had the minutes they deserved. Having competition has made them push and we need it for next season.

Arsenal were a club lacking in belief for a long period of time and Arteta has brought a lot of that back. He's got the fanbase completely believing - yes they've not hit some of the targets they came into the season with, but he's created a football team the fans want to stand by.
You can tell there's a belief in this stadium now. You walk around the stadium and the fans have a spring in their step.
Arsenal fans will be very pleased with where they are, yes disappointed today, but overall they'll be happy with the way they're going.

We got back in the game again at 3-2 and then conceded a quick counter-attack from a throw in that we got in their final third. Full of endeavour, some really good quality at times as well but a little bit too fragile."
On the spirit of his players: "They have shown that all season long. We've scored a lot of goals this year. We've been good to watch, we've been involved in loads of great games but we've conceded too many and that balance is something that we've got to try to address and we know where we need to keep improving. Manchester City are unbeaten in their last 16 Premier League games against West Ham (W13 D3), since a 2-1 home loss in September 2015.
West Ham have lost 15 of their 17 Premier League away games against Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium, with the exceptions being a 1-1 draw (January 2008) and a 2-1 win (September 2015).
West Ham have conceded at least once in all 17 of their Premier League games at the Etihad Stadium – only Tottenham have played at a specific venue more in the competition without ever keeping a clean sheet (18 at Emirates Stadium).
Manchester City go into this match looking to become the first team in the history of the English top-flight to win four titles in a row. It would the sixth title overall for Pep Guardiola, with only Sir Alex Ferguson ever winning more titles in the top-flight (13).
Before their 1-0 defeat at Brentford last season, Manchester City had won their final league game in each of Pep Guardiola’s first six seasons in charge. They’ve not lost their final league game in consecutive campaigns since a run of three between 2005-06 and 2007-08.
West Ham have lost their final league game in each of the last two seasons, last doing so in three in a row between 2013-14 and 2015-16.
Manchester City are the only side yet to lose a home Premier League match this season (W13 D5). City are looking to remain unbeaten at home in a top-flight season for a fourth time, along with 1904-05, 1920-21 and 2011-12, while manager Pep Guardiola has only gone a full top-flight season unbeaten once before, with Barcelona in 2009-10.
West Ham have lost 5-2 at Crystal Palace and 5-0 at Chelsea in their last two Premier League away games; the last team to concede 5+ goals in three consecutive top-flight away games were Blackburn Rovers (April-August 1965), while West Ham last did so in April 1932.
Man City’s Kevin De Bruyne has six assists in Premier League final games – it’s the most of any current player, with only Nolberto Solano providing more in the competition’s history (7). De Bruyne’s assist for Haaland against Spurs on Tuesday took him to 112 in the Premier League, with only Ryan Giggs having more in the history of the competition (162).
This will be David Moyes’ 198th and final Premier League game in charge of West Ham – no permanent manager has a higher win rate for the Hammers in the competition than the Scotsman (37.1%, same as Alan Curbishley).
