  1. 'Swindon keeping Bromley guessing'published at 15:13 GMT 24 January

    Bromley 0-1 Swindon

    Phil Smith
Former Swindon Town goalkeeper on BBC Radio Wiltshire Sport

Mixing our playing style up is key to making sure we are keeping Bromley guessing, and not making it too predictable for them.

So far we're doing that and it's paid off.

  2. League Two updatepublished at 15:12 GMT 24 January

A couple more early strikes to get us going in the fourth tier.

Kieran Green has given Grimsby the lead with a stunner from distance against Cheltenham, and MK Dons have moved into the automatic play-off places thanks to a quick double from Callum Paterson - the second a penalty - against strugglers Shrewsbury.

  3. 'A stoppable goal'published at 15:12 GMT 24 January

    Salford 1-0 Bristol Rovers

    Lee Mansell
Former Bristol Rovers midfielder on BBC Radio Bristol

There have been far too many gaps in the Bristol Rovers' backline, and the midfield has not been tight enough.

You can't leave a centre forward like Ryan Graydon on his own.

    It's a completely stoppable goal.

  4. goal

GOAL: Bromley 0-1 Swindonpublished at 15:11 GMT 24 January

    Fletcher Holman (9 mins)

    The visitors lead!

A brilliant move starts for Swindon with Ollie Palmer who threads a pass through for Aaron Drinan to run onto.

The forward then plays the ball across the box and onto a plate for Fletcher Holman who scores his first goal for the club, it's a big one!

    Salford have the early breakthrough!

Kelly N'Mai picks up the loose ball in the centre of the pitch and slots a lovely pass through for Ryan Graydon who beats the keeper and fires his side into the lead.

  6. 'Swindon applying pressure'published at 15:09 GMT 24 January

    Bromley 0-0 Swindon

    Phil Smith
Former Swindon Town goalkeeper on BBC Radio Wiltshire Sport

There's been a decent bit of pressure by Swindon so far. They have been keeping the ball in the Bromley half.

  7. Postpublished at 15:08 GMT 24 January

    Salford 0-0 Bristol Rovers

Salford City have an early chance but this will not be troubling the Rovers goalkeeper.

Kelly N'Mai takes aim from the left-hand side of the box but his strike is well over the bar.

  8. 'Great positioning from Ashworth'published at 15:06 GMT 24 January

    Blackpool 1-0 Northampton

    Steve Thompson
Former Blackpool assistant manager on BBC Radio Lancashire

Zac Ashworth being in a great position has given Blackpool a great start. We had good numbers in the box whereas normally we don't.

    Let's build on this.

  9. goal

GOAL: Blackpool 1-0 Northamptonpublished at 15:06 GMT 24 January

    Zac Ashworth (3 mins)

Hello Zac Ashworth! The left-back opens the scoring in the third minute.

George Honeyman has not just one but two bites of the cherry, only finding Northampton bodies blocking his way but not the case for Zac Ashworth.

He slots it past everyone to give Blackpool an early advantage in this crucial tie at the bottom of the table.

  10. Postpublished at 15:05 GMT 24 January

    Blackpool 0-0 Northampton

New Blackpool signings Joel Randall and Michael Obafemi are straight on for their debuts.

That's just one of the exciting tales to be told this afternoon and they all begin right... now.

  13. Sell-out at Bromley as top two clashpublished at 14:58 GMT 24 January

    Bromley v Swindon (15:00 GMT)

    Bromley stadium interior

If your name’s not down, you’re getting into the Copperjax Community Stadium today.

For the first time since Bromley extended the capacity to over 5,000, their ground is a sell-out with Andy Woodman’s side sitting at the top of League Two.

The high-flying Ravens welcome second-placed Swindon to south east London this afternoon in what could be one of the EFL’s games of the day with Woodman saying “he would have laughed” at the prospect of a full stadium and a top-of-the-table clash a few years ago.

Win today and promotion will be a serious prospect indeed.

  14. Loan star Kanu 'could be a crucial piece of the jigsaw'published at 14:56 GMT 24 January

    Walsall v Accrington (15:00 GMT)

    Marc Webber
BBC Final Score commentator at Pallet-Track Bescot Stadium

    Walsall stadium

Walsall manager Mat Sadler was grinning like a Cheshire cat when he got to exclusively reveal top scorer Daniel Kanu was staying in a post-match interview last week.

At eleven league goals during his loan spell from Charlton, you can see why he’s happy he’s staying.

Walsall tend to lose their on-loan stars after Christmas because of strong starts, so having Kanu continue with the Saddlers could be a crucial piece of the jigsaw as they battle in this congested top of the table.

The congestion also keeps Accrington as an interested party in this league, as a win today could propel them further up to mid-table safety.

  15. League Two round-uppublished at 14:54 GMT 24 January

Walsall are in the mix again at the top of League Two as we approach the final few months of the season, and will look to get back on track at home against Accrington, having lost two of their last three at the Bescot.

MK Dons and Cambridge are hot on the heels of the Saddlers in the race for promotion, and host Shrewsbury and Tranmere today. The Shrews in particular could do with the points to ease their relegation fears.

Colchester begin the day five points off the play-off places, but a win against 15th-placed Fleetwood would close that gap.

There's a bit more of a split in the division in the fourth tier compared to the third, and there's a big meeting of two sides in the bottom six today as Barrow host Crawley, who sit just one point above the relegation zone to Non-League.

Newport's difficult season was summed up last time out when they conceded twice in injury-time to lose, and will hope to put that right at home to Chesterfield today. Paul Cook's side could be there for the taking having not won in four.

Harrogate are currently the other side below the cut line to remain the football league come May. Gillingham, who beat basement club Newport a week ago, will look to put another struggling club away today.

Who'll be smiling come 5pm in League Two?

  16. Salford host struggling Bristol Roverspublished at 14:53 GMT 24 January

Salford v Bristol Rovers (15:00 GMT)

Salford City will be looking to close the gap their rivals at the top of the table this afternoon with Swindon Town and Bromley set to play each other.

They host a Bristol Rovers side at Peninsula Stadium who have only won six times this season, with 16 defeats.

Bristol Rovers are unbeaten across their three league meetings with Salford City, including a 2-1 comeback win in the reverse fixture this season in September.

However, Salford City are on a hot run, unbeaten across their last eight League Two games.

Ian Holloway on away game against League Two leaders Bromley

Well this is a big game at the top of League Two as the division's best two sides so far meet this afternoon.

Bromley have a six-point gap at the top of the table and will be looking to extend that this afternoon at Hayes Lane.

Ian Holloway's Swindon Town have Walsall and Salford City hot on their heals with both sides also on their 46 points.

The Robins are one of the two sides to defeat Bromley in League Two this season without conceding, beating them 2-0 in the reverse fixture.

That being said, Bromley are the only side yet to lose at home in League Two this season, winning each of their last six league games on home soil.

Bromley have also scored multiple goals in all 12 home League Two games this season.

  18. Four knocking on the door and crunch time for Millers?published at 14:49 GMT 24 January

    League One Round-Up

It's hard to keep track of who is looking over their shoulder and who is looking upwards in League One with such a tight table, but two teams looking to keep pace with the play-offs are Stevenage and Mansfield.

Borough are winless in seven in the league, in stark contrast to the Stags who arrive in Hertfordshire having won four of their past five in the division.

Something may have to give at Adams Park this afternoon, as Wycombe - who have lost one of their past 11 at home, take on a Peterborough side climbing the table having won four of their past five on the road.

Three places and three points separate Reading and Barnsley in mid-table, and the Royals and the Tykes face off looking to move away from danger.

Port Vale have taken seven points from a possible 42 in recent months, and it's Exeter who will try and take the spoils at Vale Park, having done so their most recent visit in 2024 with a 4-2 win.

Third-bottom Doncaster picked up their first win since November late last week, and would love to carry that momentum into their home game again Wigan today. The Latics arrive on a run of just one win in seven games.

Things aren't looking good for Rotherham. Eight straight defeats has left them in danger of being firmly cut adrift in second-bottom. They host Wimbledon today, who themselves are only two points clear of the drop zone.

As it seems every week in League One, three points today could make a big difference.

  19. A basement deciderpublished at 14:47 GMT 24 January

    Blackpool v Northampton (15:00 GMT)

There may be some big matches at the top of the table today but Blackpool v Northampton deserves plenty of attention of its own.

Blackpool will be playing to try and end a three-match losing streak (four if you count their FA Cup loss to Championship heavyweights Ipswich Town), while Northampton will hope to see an end to their five-league match winless run.

The Cobblers could also leapfrog their visitors should they take all three points. A stalemate would also see them out of the bottom four, leaving Burton Albion to drop down instead.

Relief, elation, pure misery - no matter what, emotions will be running high at the conclusion of this match and not just inside Bloomfield Road.

  20. Can Orient break down Bolton's fortress?published at 14:45 GMT 24 January

Bolton v Leyton Orient (15:00 GMT)

The Toughsheet Community Stadium has lived up its name when it comes to welcoming Leyton Orient.

Of Bolton and the O's last eight meetings on the Trotters home soil, the hosts have won each and every one of them.

It is the visitors kryptonite, the place they currently uphold the longest losing streak away from home in the EFL and given they've only won three on the road in general this season, a foreboding task.

To make it worse, they are only three points clear of the bottom four as it stands while Bolton will be guaranteed a place in the top six even with a defeat.

The hosts won't want any one catching up to them though, nor will they want another loss on their almost unblemished home record having only lost once there all season.
