That early Stockport goal is a blow for Cardiff, who have been on a roll at home, winning their past eight League One games here.

This is the Bluebirds’ best such run since 2012 when they started the Championship season with 10 successive victories at Cardiff City Stadium to propel themselves towards Premier League promotion.

  2. Postpublished at 12:48 GMT 24 January

    Plymouth 0-0 Luton

This one is opening up nicely. Nakhi Wells finds himself with a sight of goal, but the experienced forward can only scuff his shot wide.

At the other end, Malachi Boateng sees a goalbound effort blocked by the Luton defence.

  3. CLOSE!published at 12:48 GMT 24 January

    Huddersfield 0-0 Bradford

    The Accu is in disbelief.

The Terriers are crawling everywhere around the box and Alfie May looks to capitalise. Bantams stopper Sam Walker denies him but only to watch the ball fall perfectly into Lynden Gooch.

The American takes aim and the stands hold their breath in anticipation. It ripples the netting, producing cheers but not for long when the penny drops and they realise it was the wrong side of the post.

  4. CLOSE!published at 12:47 GMT 24 January

    Notts County 1-0 Crewe

This one was not far away!

Crewe midfielder Max Sanders sends a deep corner into the danger zone and it finds the head of Mickey Demetriou but the ball flies just over the bar.

  5. GREAT SAVE!published at 12:44 GMT 24 January

    Plymouth 0-0 Luton

    What a block this!

Plymouth top scorer Lorent Tolaj gets space in the box and squares the ball for Matthew Sorinola, who sees his shot under Luton keeper Josh Keeley brilliantly kept out on the line by the sliding Nigel Lonwijk.

A let off for Luton. A huge chance for the hosts.

  9. Postpublished at 12:42 GMT 24 January

    Plymouth 0-0 Luton

Not even 10 minutes on the clock and it's already boiled over at the Accu Stadium.

Marcus McGuane, on his league start for the Terriers, reacts to a push from Aden Baldwin with one of his own.

The referee doesn't like what he's seeing, pulling out a yellow on the Hudderfield man, prompting annoyance from the Huddersfield camp who feel Baldwin is escaping scot-free.

It's been a good start from Cardiff City so far.

There was a minute's applause before kick-off here to remember Terry Yorath, the Leeds and Wales legend who died earlier this month.

Yorath had a short spell in charge of Cardiff City during the 1990s, and he was born and raised just down the road from this stadium, in the Grangetown area of the Welsh capital.

This is Cardiff's first home game since Yorath's death on 8 January.
