    Middlesbrough 1-0 Norwich

    What an opportunity for Norwich!

Jovon Makama rounds Sol Brynn and looks destined to equalise but a superb last-ditch challenge from Boro sub and club captain Dael Fry prevents him from doing so.

    Incredible stuff!

  2. 'A few empty seats'published at 16:46 GMT 31 January

    Portsmouth 3-0 West Brom

    Guy Whittingham
Former Portsmouth manager on BBC Radio Solent

There are a few empty seats in the away end now.

Think it is safe to say that the West Brom fans have seen enough.

  3. GREAT SAVE!published at 16:46 GMT 31 January

    Blackburn 0-1 Hull

Huge chance for Hull to seal it... Kyle Joseph finds himself in space and only has Blackburn keeper Balazs Toth to beat but the Hungarian makes himself big to deny Joseph.

  4. SUBSTITUTIONSpublished at 16:46 GMT 31 January

    Portsmouth 3-0 West Brom

You've never seen a standing ovation like this... if Tim Henman had won Wimbledon in a fifth-set tie-break and immediately donated the winnings to charity the reception would not have been as adoring as the one which Ebou Adams and Mill Alli got as they headed off, to be replaced by John Swift and Mackenzie Kirk for the last knockings.

  5. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 16:46 GMT 31 January

    Middlesbrough 1-0 Norwich

Late change for Middlesbrough and Jeremy Sarmiento is on for his debut, replacing Tommy Conway.

Can Boro hold on to the three points?

    Oxford United 0-2 Birmingham

Decent opportunity for Oxford to get a goal back.

Cam Brannagan whips in a terrific corner and finds defender Sam Long but he heads wide.

Is that Oxford's last chance gone?

    QPR 2-1 Coventry

Whats the biggest lead thrown away by a table topping team who eventually don't even cling on to a play off spot? Asking for a friend...

    Ian, Coventry

Preston are doing us a huge favour. I think our home form will take us up.

    Mitchell, Coventry

Doug King has to seriously considering Lampard’s position. Might sound crazy given the first half of the season, but we look like a team who have absolutely gone.

    Phil, East Lothian

Cov are doing everything and nothing not to get into the Premier League. This is laughable. The whole team, staff and owner need sort this out. Everything is going Boro's way.

    Francis, Coventry

    Millwall 1-1 Sheff Utd

Barry Bannan is on for his Millwall debut after 10 years at Sheffield Wednesday and he's trying to make an impact.

Femi Azeez's initial effort is blocked and it sits up for Bannan to hit one on the volley. We've seen him do this before... it's well struck but straight at the grateful Michael Cooper in the Blades goal.

    Into the final 10.

  9. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 16:43 GMT 31 January

    QPR 2-1 Coventry

Final sub for Coventry, it's Yang Min-hyeok, who was on loan at QPR from Tottenham last season, who is on for Tatsuhiro Sakamoto for the closing stages, looking to spark something, anything for the Sky Blues, who are looking at an eighth straight away game without a win to show for it.

    Ipswich 0-1 Preston

Where has this been all day from Ipswich?

It seems to have taken Preston's goal to wake them up.

First, Anis Mehmeti goes so close, curling an effort just wide of the far corner from the edge of the box.

Then, from a corner, Dara O'Shea has a header brilliantly blocked, leading to a goalmouth scramble, but somehow Preston's resolute defence clears.

    Blackburn 0-1 Hull

Hull City are going third as things stand. What a season the Tigers are having.

Four minutes plus stoppages to see out a scrappy but crucial win.

    Portsmouth 3-0 West Brom

What do they do all week in training? Biggest game of the last 20 years and they have rolled over. Get rid off all the senior players and play kids in League One. Give us some local lads to cheer on. Very disgruntled Baggie.

  14. 'It is getting increasingly nerve-racking'published at 16:40 GMT 31 January

    Middlesbrough 1-0 Norwich

    Mark Drury
    BBC Tees commentator

It is getting increasingly nerve-racking in this game, with it staying at 1-0.

Luke Ayling is on the sideline running down the clock and you can see why.

    Josh Key (80 mins)

Has Josh Key locked up the points for Swansea with 10 minutes remaining?

That's a first of the season for Key, and it came with his first touch within 60 seconds of coming off the bench, ghosting in to meet marko Stemanic's low cross from the left to slam past Egil Selvik.

    Watford's wobble is worsening.

  16. CLOSE!published at 16:39 GMT 31 January

    Middlesbrough 1-0 Norwich

Chance for the visitors to equalise.

Jovon Makama is found by Mathias Kvistgaarden but he fires his effort over the bar inside the box!

Meanwhile, Middlesbrough's Aidan Morris and Norwich's Anis Slimane have both received yellow cards.

    Lewis Koumas (81 mins)

Lewis Koumas slots his first goal for HullImage source, PA Media

Could this be a crucial winner for Hull City? He only arrived on loan from Liverpool yesterday...

Just four minutes into his debut for the Tigers after coming off the bench, Lewis Koumas races through one-on-one with Balazs Toth and slots it past the Rovers keeper.

Wild celebrations in the away end behind the goal.

    Blackburn 0-0 Hull

Hull are just growing back into the contest but are yet to really carve out any clear-cut chances in this second half.

Into the final 10 minutes at Ewood Park. You feel this is very much next goal wins...

  20. CLOSE!published at 16:37 GMT 31 January

    Ipswich 0-1 Preston

Chance for Ipswich to make an instant response!

Cedric Kipre gets his head on the end of a good Leif Davis corner but can't keep his effort on target.

Chances like that will have to be taken at this stage for Ipswich, who are set to lose ground on Middlesbrough, and drop to fourth below Hull City.
