This is a crucial 10 minutes for Wednesday now - they need to stay in this game as Wrexham have found an extra gear.

  2. MISSED PENALTYpublished at 13:54 GMT 31 January

    Leicester 0-2 Charlton

Oh dear... Jordan Ayew has cracked the spot kick into the woodwork and it flies to safety.

Ayew with a laboured run up and a tame hit really. Huge let-off for Charlton and what a huge opportunity wasted for Leicester.

  3. PENALTY TO LEICESTERpublished at 13:52 GMT 31 January

    Leicester 0-2 Charlton

    Leicester 0-2 Charlton

    Owynn Palmer-Atkin
    BBC Radio Leicester commentator

Charlton have really made a mountain for Leicester to climb in this second period.

It had been a very, very quiet King Power Stadium in the first half. The silence has continued into the second.

  5. YELLOW CARDpublished at 13:51 GMT 31 January

    Leicester 0-2 Charlton

Clever work from Stephy Mavididi on the Leicester left as he goes past Charlton full-back Harry Clarke but then Clarke pulls him back.

    Into the book he goes.

    Leicester 0-2 Charlton

Matty Godden chests it down on the edge of the box for Charlton, turns on it and volleys first time. It nicks off a Leicester player on the way through and behind for a corner.

Moments later, Godden gets on the end of a ball into the box at the back post but his effort from a tight angle is saved by Jakub Stolarczyk.

    Sam Smith (58 mins)

Just before the hour mark, the visitors break the deadlock!

Issa Kabore, who has looked the most threatening to make the spark for Wrexham all afternoon, gets on his bike and delivers a perfect ball from the right.

The ball misses Josh Windass at the near post but there is Sam Smith at the back post to get the telling touch with his left-foot inside the six-yard box.

As it stands, Wrexham are back up to sixth!

    Sheff Wed 0-0 Wrexham

Matty James takes a short free-kick to teammate Liberato Cacace, but the Kiwi doesn't hit his strike cleanly at all, and the ball goes out harmlessly for a Wednesday goal kick.

At the other end, Bailey Cadamarteri looks to find Jerry Yates in the middle but the ball is cut out for a Wednesday corner, which comes to nothing.

  9. CLOSE!published at 13:47 GMT 31 January

    Stoke 0-2 Southampton

    Saints are purring.

under pressure from a defender Finn Azaz attempts an impudent lob on the volley at the far post after chesting down Leo Scienza's cross from the left and it almost drops inside the far post, with a scrambling Tommy Simkin managing to claw it away off his line.

    Leicester 0-2 Charlton

Not a bad start to the half by Leicester this.

Harry Winks and Louis Page have both had efforts blocked and the Foxes are trying to press early in the second period for a route back into this game.

It must be a good day for Southampton, Flynn Downes has scored!

He sort of stumbles over it, but he gets it into the net.

This is exactly what Southampton needed, they needed another goal to allow them to go and play with confidence and see the game out.

    Sheff Wed 0-0 Wrexham

Sheffield Wednesday's Yan Valery is convinced he should have earned his side a corner but the linesman flags for a goal kick to the visitors.

The start of this second half has been scrappy to the say the very, very least.

    Leicester 0-2 Charlton

I'm off to start my dinner now, because I've had enough of this, but today's performance at Leicester is proof that the manager is not to blame. Four managers now have failed to get a performance out of this squad. Wholesale squad changes are required in the new financial year!

  14. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 13:43 GMT 31 January

    Leicester 0-2 Charlton

Back under way at the King Power - resuming later than our other two early kick-offs after 10 minutes of added time in the first half.

Charlton have made a sub at the break with Miles Leaburn going off for Matty Godden.

  15. goal

GOAL Stoke 0-2 Southamptonpublished at 13:42 GMT 31 January

    Flynn Downes (52 mins)

Flynn Downes bundles in Southampton's second against StokeImage source, Shutterstock

Not the prettiest but Saints won't care... Saints are marching to an away win.

A near-post corner is flicked on and lands at the feet of Flynn Downes at the back stick.

He makes a hash of his attempt to turn in first-time, falling to the floor with the ball stuck under his feet, but shows quick thinking to flick the ball with the outside of his right boot from his backside and it creeps past Tommy Simkin and into the bottom corner from a couple of yards out.

Puskas Award? Not quite. But it's his first goal for over a year and has Saints on course for a first away win in seven.

  16. Postpublished at 13:42 GMT 31 January

    Stoke 0-1 Southampton

Ooooh. Nasty fall from Ashley Phillips in his own goalmouth from a Saints corner.

You could hear a cry of pain as his leg buckled underneath him.

It's ended up being costly for his side as Tommy Simkin caught the cross and then bowled out to launch a Potters counter, only for Farai Hallam to bring play back to check on Phillips.

He thankfully seems to be okay, but his yelp might not have done his side any favours there...

  17. Postpublished at 13:40 GMT 31 January

    Sheff Wed 0-0 Wrexham

Wrexham's Josh Windass is quick to anticipate a loose ball and is taken down by a late challenge from Liam Cooper on halfway.

Cooper perhaps lucky to avoid becoming the first name in the referee's notebook today there.

Smart move by Robins, that midfield switch. Saints should, as usual, have been at least two ahead at half-time and will no doubt go to sleep as usual for the rest of the game.

  19. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 13:39 GMT 31 January

    Stoke 0-1 Southampton

Brazilian magician Leo Scienza is the latest Saint to take a tumble in the box after trying to scoot round Bosun Lawal on the left of the area.

The defender put his arm across to try and shield the ball as the battled shoulder-to-shoulder but ref Farai Hallam saw nothing wrong once again.

Certainly not as much of a case as Finn Azaz had in the first half, which earned him a booking.

  20. Postpublished at 13:37 GMT 31 January

    Sheff Wed 0-0 Wrexham

We are back under way at Hillsborough and neither manager has decided to make a change at the break.

In the opening act of the second half, Jerry Yates looks to get on the end of a long ball but the ball goes out for a Wrexham throw-in.
