  1. 'Every point is important'published at 14:36 BST 29 March

FT: West Ham 1-1 London City

    West Ham United

West Ham's Oona Siren said: "It was a really tough game and we worked really hard. Every point is important, an important point for us."

On her goal: "It was just flying to me after the free kick and I was just thinking that I had to smash it. Then it went into the goal and I was surprised actually.

"That was the first one [like that], to be honest.

"It feels really good to score my first goal. My goal was to score my first before the season ends so it was nice."

On the importance of gaining points: "Every game is really important. I think we have found the right mentality and we just have to stay together and fight hard every day."

  2. 'This is a huge win for us'published at 14:32 BST 29 March

    FT: Chelsea 4-3 Aston Villa

    Chelsea

Chelsea boss Sonia Bompastor speaking post-match: "A lot of emotions. A great result. It was the most important thing for us to win this game. In terms of performance Villa put the battle up there for us. They scored first and I think we had a great reaction, from losing 1-0 to score three goals in the first half.

"If I'm being honest it is not good enough from us to concede three goals. Villa only had three shots on goal and scored three in the first half, so we need to be better in defensive aspects, but in the end we found a way to win the game.

"In the second half we were a lot more in control, we created a lot of opportunities, and we scored one goal and it was enough for us to win."

On taking risks: "We had to. When you are losing the game 1-0 you have to prepare for different scenarios. At half time I told the players that we had to find a way to score more goals. I was confident that we would create many more opportunities, we just had to score at least one more than the opponent,.

"The winning goal wasa big one for us. You could see the relief. Right now the reality is that we are fighting for the Champions League spots and this win is a huge win for us."

  3. 'The team dug deep'published at 14:28 BST 29 March

"The team dug deep and Sio [Nusken] grabbed the winner, so happy days."

    FT: Chelsea 4-3 Aston Villa

    Aston Villa

Aston Villa defender Lynn Wilms speaking post-match: "We started actually quite good with the fast goal, and then they have the individual quality of Lauren James who scores two fast goals. You know that it's coming and you try to defend well as a team.

"Then we did a very good job to equalise. We know that they [Chelsea] don't always want to defend back and we are good at the counter, o we were trying to make our game from that. After 3-3 it is frustrating that it ends like this to be honest."

On being clinical in the first half: "Yes we do that well, that is obviously our quality. Now we are also trying to play a bit more, which is hard, because you know Chelsea are going to press but I thought we did that well."

On taking confidence from this block: "100%. I'm feeling good. I'm healthy, that is the most important thing and I am just happy to be in this team."

From a Chelsea point of view the important thing is that they got the three points, and for Aston Villa there are plenty of positives to take.
