An interesting game based on defensive capabilities and attacking creativity. Lucy Bronze has been caught out on numerous occasions both in positioning and pace. Lucy has tried to make up for this by fouling Kirsty Hanson, the Villa threat.

Maya Hijikata, fresh from helping Japan win the Asian Cup, is on for Miri Taylor for Villa.

But Chelsea nearly retake the lead, only for Alyssa Thompson to head over from Sandy Baltimore's cross.

Oona Siren had played pretty well in this game before that goal, but that's a great strike.

    AN ABSOLUTE SCREAMER.

That is an unbelievable finish from Oona Siren. London City head a free kick clear, Siren puts her laces through it on the volley from outside the box and smashes in the equaliser.

Elene Lete gets to it but can't keep it out.

Hanson picks the ball up and there were no Chelsea players in and around her. She takes it off her left foot and I thought that it was going in, so unlucky.

  6. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 13:23 BST 29 March

Leila Wandeler and Seraina Piubel are replaced by Ffion Morgan and Viviane Asseyi.

Freya Godfrey gets in down the left-hand side and drives down the byeline as London City set up a great chance.

She knocks the ball inside the Izzy Goodwin, but she can't hit the target.

    West Ham 0-1 London City

That's a sign of how things have been.

A poor London City free kick is cleared. They manage to recycle the ball, but, after getting behind the back line, Freya Godfrey sends her cross out of play.

  9. HITS THE WOODWORK - Aston Villapublished at 13:22 BST 29 March

    Chelsea 3-3 Aston Villa

Kirsty Hanson is inches away from a hat-trick for Aston Villa. She strikes her curling left-footed strike so well and it rebounds high up off the left-hand post to keep it to 3-3.

Almost the seventh goal of a breathtaking game, but Hanson and Villa are denied.

    File that one under 'speculative'.

Poppy Pattinson has a crack from distance, but blasts over the bar.

Worth a go given how difficult they have found it to create chances inside the West Ham box.

I think when the whistle went there was a little question, what has the ref given there? Roebuck didn't seem like she wanted to argue that either had the referee pointed to the spot.

Chelsea think they have a penalty when Sam Kerr looks to have been brought down by Ellie Roebuck. But the assistant's flag saves Villa with an offside call. It looked very, very tight.

Villa get away with that one.

London City seem a little unsure in the way they want to play so far in the second half. We are seeing glimpses and flashes of West Ham are capable of, but both teams are cancelling each other out at the moment.

We've had nine second half minutes without a goal. I feel a little bit shortchanged.

Oh, Shekiera Martinez. That is a big waste.

Katrina Gorry unleashes her with a great pass and Martinez runs into the London City box.

But she just takes too long and decides not to get a shot away, instead overplaying it and getting closed down.

That is the best chance West Ham have had.

As the ball came in there seemed to be a little bit of confusion there but thankfully for Chelsea it bounced past the post.

    Chelsea 3-3 Aston Villa

Just like the first half, Aston Villa make a bright start. Home keeper Hannah Hampton has to leap and do well to get a fist to the ball under pressure and then Lynn Wilms, with three assists to her name already, puts in another fine ball, but there's no-one on the end of it.

Decent start from London City. Ines Belloumou takes too long on the ball and the visitors can take advantage, with Freya Godfrey applying pressure.

She works the ball to Izzy Goodwin, but she can't threaten the goalkeeper.
