I don't want to alarm Arsenal fans but it looks like Declan Rice is limping after a challenge. He picks himself up and is carrying on - for now.

Same old story so far for Arsenal. All the possession, but they don't do anything with it. Watch it end up 1-0 to Sporting at half-time.

I'm surprised Gyokeres didn't make his mind up earlier and he just gets underneath it.

He's trying to whip it in that top corner.

Now an attempt by Viktor Gyokeres against his former club but the Arsenal forward cannot get it on target.

There's a little bit of frustration creeping into Arsenal's play.

They've got themselves into some decent positions but Sporting are defending well.

Dayot Upamecano times his challenge to perfection to nick the ball away from Vinicius Jr, who was bearing down on goal.

The defender celebrates the challenge as though he's just won the Champions League.

Real Madrid just need one turnover, one interception or bit of sloppy play. They will hurt you if they get the chance.

By the way for those of you wondering why Kylian Mbappe has got a plaster in the middle of his head - he took an elbow to the head in the 1-1 draw against Girona on Friday and required stitches.

Speaking of Mbappe, he makes a really good run from midfield but Konrad Laimer gets back to deny the effort on goal.

Fifteen minutes into the game and it is getting a bit edgy. Morten Hjulmand driving forward, the first time we have seen him on the ball. He fed the ball through, but Luis Suarez had drifted into an offside position.

A dreadful pass from Saliba. I don't know who he was trying to pass to. Trincao wants to come inside onto his left foot, a quick touch on the inside, but the angle is blocked and the shot is well wide in the end.

Remember all that noise at the start? It's suddenly got a little bit edgy inside the Emirates.

And now another attempt by Sporting.

This time it comes from former Wolves player Trincao and it's not bad at all.

A couple of warning signs for Arsenal in the last few moments.

Bayern are really positive in their press, more than happy to go two-on-two at the back with Mbappe and Vinicius.

Vincent Kompany is very brave in what he wants his team to do.

After a totally frantic start Bayern have settled into this and are dominating possession.

Michael Olise curls one in and Trent Alexander-Arnold prevents it reaching England team-mate (or not) Harry Kane.

For one split second it looks like Luis Suarez might be through for Sporting.

He gets his shot away from a difficult angle and it falls well wide before the offside flag goes up.

Good defending from Eder Militao to prevent Luis Diaz getting the shot away. A risky challenge, he went in with two feet, but he doesn't make contact with the forward and gets away with it.

So, no early goal for Arsenal.

The Gunners are also yet to seriously test goalkeeper Rui Silva although they have registered a couple of attempts.

Bayern have got control back of this game.

But Vinicius Junior and Kylian Mbappe are taking up positions on the two Bayern centre-backs, hoping they will make mistakes and give the ball away in dangerous areas.

Geny Catamo has gone down inside the Arsenal box as though he has been shot after a challenge by Piero Hincapie.

Did he hurt himself as he went to ground?

Whatever happened, VAR is not looking at it for a possible penalty.
