It's in the top corner, but a keeper of Neuer's quality should do better with Guler's free-kick. It looks like he has his eye on the post a little bit, and is wary of a collision.

That's why Cristhian Mosquera is in the team at right-back. He has matched Maxi Araujo really well on occasions. Mosquera just uses his physicality to ease him out.

Bayern have been the better team here. It was the same last week. Loads of chances but just missing that bit of something in the final third.

By contrast, Real get one or two chances and take them and they've clawed back level in the tie.

What is it about this team in Europe?

Ex-Wolves player Pedro Goncalves snatches at a shot and it flies over the bar but once again far too much space afforded to the Sporting player.

What a hit, left foot, curling away from Neuer.

It's strange from the goalkeeper, he steps [across] and tries to bat the ball from behind the line.

    Arda Guler (29 mins)

    WOW!

The free-kick is in a good position but Arda Guler strikes it beautifully over the wall and into the top corner.

Manuel Neuer looks like he gets a fingertip to it but he can't keep it out.

    What a beauty that is.

Well, that was interesting from Andriy Lunin.

The goalkeeper completely misjudges the flight of the ball and makes an awkward-looking dive with his arm outstretched.

He's claiming he was fouled but he wasn't. He gets lucky there that it's bundled away.
