    Middlesbrough 4-0 Southampton

Almost a fifth for Boro as double goalscorer Morgan Whittaker tees up Tommy Conway but his goalbound effort is blocked.

The final whistle cannot come soon enough for Tonda Eckert's side. It's going to be six games without a win for Southampton.

    Norwich 0-2 Stoke

Stoke back on track. Shouldn't fall in love with a summer signing but Sorba Thomas is magic. Pleased for Gally getting a goal. Back up to eighth. Free hit in the cup next weekend give the kids a go.

    Derby 1-2 Wrexham

Can Wrexham steer out an away win at Derby or can the Rams strike late on?

Well on the verge of injury time, it's as you were.

Corey Blackett-Taylor's drive from a tight angle is well saved by Wrexham keeper Arthur Okonkwo while at the other end George Thomason's shot is blocked.

Derby keep it lively, however, and Andi Weimann's right-footed shot sails just wide of the mark.

  5. SUBSTITUTIONSpublished at 16:47 GMT 4 January

    Millwall 1-1 Swansea

Alfie Doughty makes a late introduction for Millwall.

Femi Azeez makes way for him.

Swansea make their final change with Zan Vipotnik replaced by Bobby Wales.

  6. YELLOW CARDpublished at 16:46 GMT 4 January

    Norwich 0-2 Stoke

Frustration all around at Carrow Road.

Kellen Fisher is cautioned as he hacks down Sorba Thomas.

  7. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 16:46 GMT 4 January

    Middlesbrough 4-0 Southampton

Ross Stewart is on for his first Championship appearance for Southampton since 4 October after recovering from a hamstring injury.

Not exactly the ideal circumstances as he replaces Joshua Quarshie.

  8. Postpublished at 16:45 GMT 4 January

    Millwall 1-1 Swansea

A Jake Cooper header is goalbound for Millwall.

But, guess what? Yep Lawrence Vigouroux makes another fine save in the Swansea goal.

He really is having an afternoon out.

  9. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 16:43 GMT 4 January

    Middlesbrough 4-0 Southampton

Boro make their first change of what has been a very successful afternoon. Alex Gilbert is on for the final seven minutes or so as Delano Burgzorg makes way.

  10. goal

GOAL Norwich 0-2 Stokepublished at 16:42 GMT 4 January

    Sorba Thomas (82 mins)

    Game, set and match.

An assist and now a goal for Sorba Thomas.

Million Manhoef supplies the pass and the Welshman does the rest.

A ninth home league defeat of the season incoming for Norwich.

  11. 'Boro can't stop scoring'published at 16:41 GMT 4 January

    Middlesbrough 4-0 Southampton

    Rob Law
BBC Radio 5 Live reporter at Riverside Stadium

Now they've broken their duck, they simply can't stop scoring. Alan Browne scores his first goal since August last year to make it 4-0.

  12. SUBSTITUTIONSpublished at 16:39 GMT 4 January

    Millwall 1-1 Swansea

    Millwall send on the cavalry.

Derek Mazou-Sacko, Aidomo Emakhu and Joe Bryan are on.

Off go Zak Sturge, Thierno Ballo and Camiel Neghli.

    Can we find a winner?

  13. 'Four goals since the 54th minute'published at 16:39 GMT 4 January

    Middlesbrough 4-0 Southampton

    Mark Drury
    BBC Tees commentator

Four goals coming since the 54th minute.

I still go back to that block on Adam Armstrong, who knows what it would have been without that.

I think it is safe to say that Boro will return to the automatic promotion places this afternoon.

  14. goal

GOAL: Blackburn 2-2 Charltonpublished at 16:38 GMT 4 January

    Moussa Baradji (77 mins)

    Two for Moussa Baradji!

It's no less than Blackburn deserve after a more positive showing the second half.

Having got them off the mark in the first half, Baradji gets his second, this time from Lewis Miller's cross.

It's controversial, however, as Charlton had been down to 10 at the time when Miles Leaburn went down with injury. He's finally replaced by Isaac Olaofe in the aftermath of that leveller.

  15. goal

GOAL: Middlesbrough 4-0 Southamptonpublished at 16:36 GMT 4 January

    Alan Browne (76 mins)

    It's a rout.

Hayden Hackney's initial effort is parried away by Saints keeper Gavin Bazunu but Alan Browne is there to fire home the rebound for his first goal for the club.

Boro are most definitely going second and Coventry's lead at the top will be cut to six points.

  16. goal

GOAL: Norwich 0-1 Stokepublished at 16:36 GMT 4 January

    Sam Gallagher (75 mins)

The substitute nudges the visitors in front.

Sorba Thomas' cross is begging to be tucked home and Sam Gallagher obliges.

A first win against Norwich in seven years is 15 minutes away for Stoke.

Ben Pearson was cautioned for the Potters just before the goal.

  17. Postpublished at 16:36 GMT 4 January

    Middlesbrough 3-0 Southampton

    Neil Maddison
Former Middlesbrough midfielder on BBC Tees

Don't concede, keep a clean sheet.

    I want a fourth.

  18. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 16:35 GMT 4 January

    Middlesbrough 3-0 Southampton

    Triple change for Southampton.

Welington, Cameron Archer and Elias Jelert are all on. Ryan Manning, Tom Fellows and Adam Armstrong make way.

  19. SUBSTITUTIONSpublished at 16:35 GMT 4 January

    Millwall 1-1 Swansea

Jay Fulton has almost scored an own goal for Swansea, now he is close at the right end for the visitors.

Home goalkeeper Max Crocombe makes a fine save.

Swansea follow that with two more substitutions.

On come Zeidane Inoussa and Marko Stamenic for Ronald and Eom Ji-Sung.

  20. Postpublished at 16:33 GMT 4 January

    Middlesbrough 3-0 Southampton

A lot of Southampton fans have already left. Many flooding out after the third went in for Boro.

It's a long, long drive home for those Saints supporters from the north-east to the south coast.

At least five hours in the car.
