    Wieke Kaptein (41mins)

Chelsea have looked better in the last 10 minutes and now they make it count!

Sandy Baltimore swings in a cross from the right, and somewhow Wieke Kaptein is left completely unmarked just a few yards out to head past Ayaka Yamashita.

The goalkeeper was let down by her defenders there, but she probably could have got something on that cross. Instead she was caught ball-watching and made Kaptein's job easy for her.

    Man City 0-0 Chelsea

A promising Chelsea attack falls apart as Alyssa Thompson's pass over to Ellie Carpenter is too high for the wing-back to control.

That sums up this first half - both sides look threatening, but both lack the final touch of quality.

    Arsenal 0-0 Manchester United

Ellen Wangerheim has a clear run on the Arsenal goal but just as she reaches the white line of the 18 yard box Laia Codina gets back to step in.

Then instead of thumping it away the Spaniard turns and calmly picks a pass clear.

    Top class defending.

  4. CLOSE!published at 19:36 GMT 21 January

    Man City 0-0 Chelsea

    Sloppy from City again.

Sam Kerr completely shanks her shot, but Sandy Baltimore recovers the ball and sends in a cross. Kerr gets there first, but her header flashes wide.

The Chelsea striker should be hitting the target there.

  5. YELLOW CARDpublished at 19:35 GMT 21 January

    Arsenal 0-0 Manchester United

After that earlier penalty shout for Manchester United there was a brief stoppage in play, and skipper Maya Le Tissier took her chance to remonstrate with the referee Stacey Fullicks.

She was promptly booked for her protests, joining teammate Jess Park in the book for seemingly speaking out of turn.

    Man City 0-0 Chelsea

City give the ball away with a pass inside which allows Ellie Carpenter to charge down the right flank.

Carpenter's cross is blocked, to the frustration of Alyssa Thompson who was unmarked in the middle.

A reminder that Chelsea can threaten at a moment's notice.

    Arsenal 0-0 Manchester United

Nice work from Arsenal to play through the thirds and out to the left for Caitlin Foord to cross.

It's a low one into the six yard box that arrives at the feet of Mariona Caldentey, but she's crowded out well by the United back line.

That was really sloppy from Arsenal. The referee was in a good position and the Arsenal players seem unhappy with Elisabeth Terland.

Laura Blindkilde Brown slides a pass into Khadija Shaw who is brought down at the edge of the box by Millie Bright.

Free-kick in a dangerous area for City.

    Arsenal 0-0 Manchester United

Looking back at the replay there was definite hip to hip contact from McCabe on Terland as she looked to get across to block.

Not saying it was enough to send the forward sprawling but equally there was quite a bit of contact there.

No VAR in action tonight though so referee's decision is final.

  12. Postpublished at 19:30 GMT 21 January

    Man City 0-0 Chelsea

Chelsea forwards Sam Kerr and Alyssa Thompson look isolated up top.

City forward Vivianne Miedema is dropping deep when the play is in her side's half, which is giving the home side a player advantage in the build-up.

Lauren Hemp is doing a great job of pinning back Chelsea full-back Ellie Carpenter, meaning she can't bomb forward like normal.

  13. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 19:29 GMT 21 January

    Arsenal 0-0 Manchester United

Out of nowhere United cut Arsenal open, and Elisabeth Terland is running through on goal.

She sidesteps an attempted slide tackle from Gunners skipper Lotte Wubben-Moy before going down under contact from Katie McCabe.

The Norwegian is adamant she should have a spot kick but her appeals are waved away.

I think this is Chelsea's best midfield three, full of running and hard work and not afraid to put a tackle in.

    Man City 0-0 Chelsea

City have been in the ascendancy since that Khadija Shaw chance.

Chelsea are struggling to play their way up the pitch, whereas City look dangerous as soon as they cross into the opposition half.

  16. Postpublished at 19:23 GMT 21 January

    Arsenal 0-0 Manchester United

Jess Park pops up on the left this time, cutting inside and whipping a cross towards striker Elisabeth Terland but she can't divert it around Anneke Borbe.

Up the other end Alessia Russo gets her first sighter of the night but she drags the shot wide from just shy of the penalty spot.

  17. YELLOW CARDpublished at 19:23 GMT 21 January

    Man City 0-0 Chelsea

Concern for City as Lauren Hemp goes down on the receiving end of a high boot from Lucy Bronze.

    The Chelsea full-back is booked.

Alex Greenwood tries her luck from the free-kick, but Hannah Hampton easily gathers.

  18. Postpublished at 19:21 GMT 21 January

    Man City 0-0 Chelsea

United lump the latest Arsenal corner up field which sets Jess Park scampering after it. She manages to keep it in play but Taylor Hinds recovers well to stop the attacking developing any further.

It's been a really good game, as it so often is between these two teams. Hannah Hampton had no choice but to come out and close down Khadija Shaw but it's a brilliant block from Sandy Baltimore. It's definitely riled up the home fans though.
