    Super stop from Ayaka Yamashita!

Lauren James receives a pass from Alyssa Thompson at the left of the box, looks for the top corner with a quickfire strike but the City goalkeeper tips over.

    A warning shot for City.

  3. RED CARDpublished at 20:22 GMT 21 January

    Arsenal 0-1 Manchester United

    Arsenal are down to ten!

Olivia Smith feels she has been kicked one too many times and goes in with a late challenge on Julia Zigiotti Olme.

A silly thing to go having been booked in the first half for a tactical foul, and she is given her second yellow and her marching orders from referee Stacey Fullicks.

    Man City 0-1 Chelsea

Andree Jeglertz makes his first Man City change, with Laura Coombs replacing Grace Clinton.

  5. Postpublished at 20:21 GMT 21 January

    Man City 0-1 Chelsea

Chelsea have been uncharacteristically sloppy at the back, but the coordinated pressing of Lauren Hemp, Grace Clinton and Khadija Shaw is likely playing a role in that.

City aren't allowing the visitors to play their way out of trouble.

  6. YELLOW CARDpublished at 20:20 GMT 21 January

    Arsenal 0-1 Manchester United

The yellow cards are totting up for the visitors now, with goalkeeper Phallon Tullis-Joyce and Julia Zigiotti Olme both cautioned in recent minutes for dissent.

They clearly feel like they're not getting the rub of the green.

    Brilliant save by Hannah Hampton.

She makes the goal look small and Vivianne Miedema is thinking, 'how many chances?'

  8. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 20:19 GMT 21 January

That's not a bad option off the bench is it?

The Swede is the form player in this competition having scored 12 goals in her last 11 appearances.

  10. GREAT SAVE!published at 20:18 GMT 21 January

    Man City 0-1 Chelsea

    And again.

Yui Hasegawa plays Vivianne Miedema in on goal through the right channel, but Hannah Hampton comes to Chelsea's rescue with a sprawling save.

Surely it's only a matter of time before City equalise?

  11. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 20:18 GMT 21 January

    Arsenal 0-1 Manchester United

Arsenal boss Renee Slegers has seen enough.

Off comes Frida Maanum, who's had a poor night in front of goal, and on comes Stina Blackstenius in her place.

  12. 'Clinton can't hit target'published at 20:17 GMT 21 January

    Rachel Brown-Finnis

It's a lovely little bit of play. Grace Clinton just can't hit the target.

City have hit the post, crossbar and fractionally wide.

As an England fan Arsenal need to look after Russo more. She's playing almost every minute and having to play striker and midfield at the same time. It's just a matter of time until she gets seriously injured or burns out

    Elly, Devon

It has been a battle out there so far tonight for the England number nine. She's had nothing but scraps to feed off while battling both of Manchester United's centre halves.

  14. CLOSE!published at 20:17 GMT 21 January

    Arsenal 0-1 Manchester United

Another chance for Alessia Russo after Caitlin Foord's wonderful outside of the foot pass gets Victoria Pelova in behind.

Russo snatches at the Dutch midfielder's pass though, dragging her shot well wide of the back stick.

  15. CLOSE!published at 20:17 GMT 21 January

    Man City 0-1 Chelsea

    Another City chance!

Lauren Hemp pounces on a loose ball in the middle and slips in Alex Greenwood to her left, but the City skipper shoots straight at Hannah Hampton. That was a defender's strike.

  16. Postpublished at 20:15 GMT 21 January

    Man City 0-1 Chelsea

Grace Clinton meets a Lauren Hemp cross into the penalty area, but her header goes narrowly wide.

The England midfielder stole a yard on her marker and really should have hit the target. Another chance spurned by City.

  17. CLOSE!published at 20:13 GMT 21 January

    Arsenal 0-1 Manchester United

Olivia Smith's latest delivery into the box swerves and dips towards the back post before dropping behind at the very last. What a goal that would have been.

I'm not sure the Canadian was aiming at the target there but it sure had Phallon Tullis-Joyce worried.

  19. Postpublished at 20:11 GMT 21 January

    Arsenal 0-1 Manchester United

Lotte Wubben-Moy takes too long to pick her pass and is forced to turn backwards with Jess Park in hot pursuit.

In the end she's unable to find an option and just has to loft it clear.

Again Arsenal making their own problems at the back.

  20. CLOSE!published at 20:10 GMT 21 January

    Man City 0-1 Chelsea

Kerstin Casparij clips in a cross from the right, but Vivianne Miedema can't get her header on target.

Khadija Shaw meets a Lauren Hemp cross shortly afterwards, but her header down into the ground bounces up and is tipped over the bar by Hannah Hampton.

City are well on top at the moment, but need to strike before Chelsea regroup.
