Still very early days of course but just that start Neil Harris will have wanted.

    Newport v Harrogate (15:00 BST)

    Laura Kenyon
5Live & BBC Final Score reporter at Molineux

Make no mistake, this is a pivotal game in League Two.

Just one point separates Newport and bottom of the table, Harrogate. It is the old cliche; a relegation six-pointer. Both sides with just four games left to play.

Christian Fuchs, the Newport boss, is a Premier League title winner with Leicester.

He finds himself at the opposite end of the football league drama now. His side face a Harrogate side with just three league wins this season.

A massive, massive game. Season defining.

  8. Burton prepare for big finalepublished at 14:53 BST 11 April

Burton v AFC Wimbledon (15:00 BST)

Burton could really use a win.

With just four games left, the threat of relegation looms large but their run-in to their final day match against Leyton Orient will offer plenty of opportunity to avoid the drop to League Two.

All four of Burton's upcoming opponents currently sit within three points of them and today's visitors AFC Wimbledon could be the most vulnerable of them all.

The Dons have not once won at the Pirelli Stadium (D4 L4), the most times they’ve ever faced a side away from home in the EFL without victory.

A good omen for the hosts? We shall see.

  9. Bantams and Boro wishing for their dreams to come truepublished at 14:50 BST 11 April

    Bradford v Stevenage (15:00 BST)

    Media caption,

Stevenage boss Alex Revell believes that play off dreams can come true.

Both Bradford boss Graham Alexander and Stevenage's Alex Revell picked up a manager of the season nomination from the EFL in the week but even if they did go home with the trophy, it wouldn't mean much if they aren't in the Championship come the summer.

Today's meeting at Valley Parade could prove crucial in that quest.

The Bantams have a nine-point cushion in the play-off places and their attention will likely be focused on hunting down Cardiff City for an automatic promotion spot and avoid the perils of May's knock-out rounds.

But extra matches next month suits Stevenage just fine so long as the opportunity is still theirs to take.

"If you work hard and you focus and you have that real belief in you that dreams can come true and for us, that's where we are at the moment," Revell told BBC Radio 3CR.

"We just have to keep believing in each other and making the ultimate happen."

Bromley will have to wait at least another week to uncork the fizz after falling to defeat to MK Dons who in turn give their automatic promotion bid a huge boost.

They’ve cut the gap to the leaders to just four points with three games to go.

Lincoln just need a point to be crowned League One champions after victory over Orient extended their unbeaten run to a frankly staggering 25 matches.

A couple more wins will also wrap up a return to the Championship for Cardiff after they beat top-four side Bolton.

And it could be less depending on results from our afternoon kick-offs.

    MK Dons 2-1 Bromley

Bromley's promotion is denied today as 10-man MK Dons hold on to pick up a massive win!

Nathaniel Mendez-Laing's goal after 35 seconds followed by Ben Wiles' effort gave the Dons a well-deserved lead at the break.

But Bromley came back into it in the second half after the hosts went down to 10 after Jon Mellish was shown a second yellow. Marcus Ifill got one back for the Ravens, but were unable to find a second to suffer defeat at Stadium MK.

This win sees MK Dons close the gap on Bromley to four points as they get their promotion quest back on track after no wins in their past four before today.

First half goals from Ellis Harrison and Mees Rijks put the Gas in charge at the break.

Louie Watson pulled a goal back for the visitors and had hope when Tom Lockyer saw red late on but Yusuf Akhamrich's goal in stoppage time ensured the three points for Steve Evans' side.

    Lincoln 2-1 Leyton Orient

Dom Ballard finds the net for Orient but the side can't find the leveller to bring Lincoln one step closer to the League One title.

Idris El Mizouni laid it out on a plate for Ballard to nod home his 22nd goal of the season but Imps stopper George Wickens put in a fantastic save to deny Will Forrester an equaliser at the death.

It brings the title to within four points of the promoted side.
