    West Ham 0-2 Brighton

Viviane Asseyi is free and unmarked five yards out but can't get a good connection on a header following Ffion Morgan's cross from the right. That was a route back into the match for the Hammers, but not taken.

I know we want a title race but that is up there with the most appalling refereeing decisions of the decade. Genuinely inexplicable.

    Arsenal 1-0 Man City

The TV cameras just showed City boss Andree Jeglertz cutting a frustrated figure in his seat in the away dugout.

He's not quite figured out how to turn this one in his side's favour yet.

  4. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 13:28 GMT 8 February

    Liverpool 2-1 Aston Villa

A double substitution for Aston Villa as Rachel Maltby and Georgia Mullett make way. Chasity Grant and Jenna Nighswonger come on.

Also a double change for Liverpool.

Alice Bergstrom and Aurelie Csillag are brought in, replacing Martha Thomas and Mia Enderby.

Time for Arsenal to ring in the changes, well just the one actually, with Frida Maanum coming on for Beth Mead.

    Arsenal 1-0 Man City

    Ooof.

Khadija Shaw manages to trick her way past Caitlin Foord but she's got back up in the form of team-mate Katie McCabe.

The full-back crunches in with a challenge that sandwiches the City forward and leaves her sprawled on the floor.

    Arsenal 1-0 Man City

I've got to say, I can't tell you how that decision wasn't given Man City's way.

It was a clear foul on Lauren Hemp and it would have almost certainly resulted in Arsenal being reduced to ten with only Daphne van Domselaar left to beat.

  8. Postpublished at 13:23 GMT 8 February

    Liverpool 2-1 Aston Villa

44.5% of the action took place in the Aston villa third in the first 15 minutes of the second half.

Safe to say Liverpool are causing problems in the same way they did before the break.

  9. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 13:23 GMT 8 February

    Arsenal 1-0 Man City

Khadija Shaw produces an outstanding through ball to get Lauren Hemp racing in behind Emily Fox before Mariona Caldentey tries to bail out the USA full-back with a challenge that sends Hemp tumbling to the floor.

Man City arms go up in anger, they want at least a free-kick, or perhaps a spot-kick.

    Referee Abigail Byrne grants neither.

London City Lionesses have been the better side, but they go 1-0 down.

It is a mistake from Wassa Sangare with a loose pass and Nicole Momiki steals the ball and slides it to Inma Gabarro and she blasts it past Elene Lete.

    Brighton move two ahead.

The ball is played to Manuela Vargas wide left, she hits the ball through the legs of defender Eva Nystrom and is through on goal, before firing a fine finish past Kinga Szemik.

  12. GREAT SAVE!published at 13:18 GMT 8 February

    London City Lionesses 0-0 Everton

Freya Godfrey cuts in from the right, along the edge of the penalty area, and shoots left footed for the home side. The ball would have gone in, but Everton goalkeeper Courtney Brosnan, enjoying a fine game, gets there in time to save it.

You get the feeling that City will come to life at some point.

They haven't hit fifth gear yet - but it's there, we've seen it throughout the season.

City are more than capable of turning it on when they need to.

  14. Postpublished at 13:17 GMT 8 February

    Arsenal 1-0 Man City

City are seeing more of the ball in these opening exchanges of the second half, but it's in and around their own box for the most part.

They're badly lacking a cutting edge, which is a very rare occurrence given their potency this season.

  15. GREAT SAVE!published at 13:14 GMT 8 February

    London City Lionesses 0-0 Everton

Everton's best moment of the match. Inma Gabarro cuts inside and shoots right footed, with the ball curling towards the top corner, only for Elene Lete to make a superb one-handed save to claw it away.

  16. Postpublished at 13:14 GMT 8 February

    Arsenal 1-0 Man City

There's some tough challenges going in from both sides. No one is holding back that's for sure.

Olivia Smith is the next player to be dumped to the floor in a 50-50 tackle but there's nothing more to it than that and play continues.

  17. Postpublished at 13:12 GMT 8 February

    London City Lionesses 0-0 Everton

Chances at both ends but Kosovare Asllani shoots off target for the home side before Ornella Vignola does likewise for Everton.

  18. Postpublished at 13:12 GMT 8 February

    Arsenal 1-0 Man City

Alex Greenwood loops an awkward cross into the back post for Khadija Shaw to attack but she can't quite nod it towards goal.

Her arm did clatter Katie McCabe in the process though so it'll be a free-kick to Arsenal.

  19. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 13:12 GMT 8 February

    Liverpool 2-1 Aston Villa

An enforced change for Aston Villa as Ellie Roebuck replaces the injured Sabrina D'Angelo.

It looks like Sabrina D'Angelo will have to go off. Alejandra Bernabe seems alright and is waiting at the side of the pitch to come back on.
