  1. 'The hosts are looking pretty comfortable'published at 19:13 GMT 11 March

    Bayer Leverkusen 1-0 Arsenal

    Matt Upson
Former Arsenal defender on BBC Radio 5 Live at BayArena

Leverkusen are playing out of the fullback area so well. They're patient and biding their time and waiting to draw their opposite Arsenal number out to pop it down the line, or play it inside.

They're selecting the right pass 85/90% of the time which is the difference in this game. Arsenal aren't hitting those numbers and the hosts are looking pretty comfortable.

Lovely football from the hosts who string a number of passes together as they work the ball from left to right and then fling in a cross that the Gunners clear.

    Bayer Leverkusen 1-0 Arsenal

Bayer Leverkusen almost get Christian Kofane in down the left but the Arsenal goalkeeper David Raya tidies up around 10 yards from the half-way line.

The hosts are pretty much camped with 11 men behind the ball now. But can Arsenal break them down and not get caught on the break?

  5. YELLOW CARDpublished at 63 mins

    Bayer Leverkusen 1-0 Arsenal

Exequiel Palacios absolutely clatters Martín Zubimendi. That's what's called leaving one on someone from the Bayer Leverkusen midfielder.

It deservedly means he collects a yellow card.

So slow. Martinelli running in circles and ignoring passes to players in space. Saka looks exhausted and off it. Arsenal are really poor since the first 10 minutes.

    Bayer Leverkusen 1-0 Arsenal

Noni Madueke replaces Bukayo Saka for Arsenal.

Madueke scored in his only other Champions League appearance as a substiture this term in a 3-1 victory over Bayern Munich in November.

Saka's had no joy at all in those one v one situations and it's mainly due to Palacios' reading of the game.

He looks mentally like he's having a dip. He's just not at the races, he sees three players in front of him and he's trying to take them all on.

Declan Rice floats in the free-kick but it's well defended by the hosts.

Gabriel Martinelli darts down the left and is brought down by Ernest Poku, who picks up a yellow card. Decent position this.

  12. Team news - Bodo equal Champions League history; Sporting short-handedpublished at 19:00 GMT 11 March

    Bodo/Glimt v Sporting CP (20:00 GMT)

Bodo/Glimt will equal the Champions League record for most consecutive games played with the same starting XI.

After four straight wins it’s little surprise Kjetil Knutsen has named the same side for the fifth game in succession – something only Auxerre previously did in 2002-03.

Bodo/Glimt XI: Haikin, Sjovold, Bjortuft, Gundersen, Bjorkan; Evjen, Berg, Fet; Blomberg, Hogh, Hauge

Subs: Lund, Sjong, Nielsen, Aleesami, Auklend, Saltnes, Helmersen, Klynge, Riissnaes, Bassi, Maatta, Mikkelsen

    BODO

Left-back Maxi Araujo and wide-man Pedro Goncalves are out through suspension for Sporting, while another left-back, Ricardo Mangas, forward Fotis Ioannidis and star 18-year-old winger Geovany Quenda, who will join Chelsea in the summer, miss out through injury.

Sporting XI: Rui Silva, Vagiannidis, Diomande, Inacio, Fresneda, Simoes, Hjulmand; Catamo,Trincao, Guilherme, Suarez.

Arsenal look a little rattled at the present. They are struggling to get out and press the hosts, who are well on top.

The goal they conceded was only the the second time ever Arsenal have allowed an opponent to score in the first minute of the second half in a major European game, with Zlatan Ibrahimovic's goal for Barcelona in March 2010, the other occasion it happened.

Arsenal concede a goal from a corner, there is a certain amount or irony there.

  15. Team news - Cucurella makes first league start; Dembele and Neves fit for PSGpublished at 18:55 GMT 11 March

    Paris St-Germain v Chelsea (20:00 GMT)

    Nizaar Kinsella
    BBC Sport Chelsea reporter

Paris St-Germain give Balon d'Or-winning striker Ousmane Dembele his first start since his recent injury lay-off against Chelsea.

Midfielder Joao Neves, who was also a doubt before kick-off, starts for PSG.

PSG XI: Safonov; Hakimi, Pacho, Nuno Mendes, Marquinhos, Neves, Vitinha, Barcola, Zaire-Emery, Doue, Dembele

Subs: Chevalier, Marin, Beraldo, Zabarnyi, Kvaratskhelia, Goncalo Ramos, Lee, Hernandez, Mayulu, Dro Fernandez, Mbaye

    PSG XI

Chelsea pick goalkeeper Filip Jorgensen over their previous number one option Robert Sanchez.

Marc Cucurella makes his first start since a recent hamstring lay-off as Liam Rosenior plays Reece James in midfield and Malo Gusto at full-back.

It's unsurprisingly a line up largely considered to be Chelsea's strongest XI.

Chelsea XI: Jorgensen; Gusto, Fofana, Chalobah, Cucurella; Caicedo, James; Palmer, Fernandez, Neto, Joao Pedro.

Subs: Merrick, Acheampong, Tosin, Badiashile, Hato, Santos, Lavia, Garnacho, Guiu, Delap

  17. Set-piece routines work for Leverkusenpublished at 18:53 GMT 11 March

    Bayer Leverkusen 1-0 Arsenal

    Alex Howell
BBC Sport Arsenal reporter at BayArena

That's two really well-worked routines that have lead to that opener.

The first is from the kick-off which leads to the corner that Leverkusen score from.

Andrich, who may be lucky to have not got two yellow cards in the first half heads in.

It's a new experience for Arsenal in this season's Champions League as it's the first time they have been behind in the competition this season.

What a massive goal and what a poor start to the second half for Arsenal.

They've not been switched on since coming out after the break. They gave away the first chance after 15 seconds and this corner, they just get undone.

It's very unlike them, it's a free header for the most aerially dominant player for Leverkusen. They'll be really disappointed with that Arsenal, it was far too easy.

    Robert Andrich

The hosts open the scoring from a corner. What a fast start to the second half from Bayer Leverkusen.

Martin Terrier forces David Raya to tip over his header and from the resulting corner, Robert Andrich sneaks in completely unmarked at the back stick to nod home.
