Service to Hugo Ekitike has not been good enough. You have to look at the players in and around him. We would all say Dominik Szoboszlai has been the standout player this year for Liverpool. Apart from that, we are really struggling. Ekitike needs a bit of help from players around him.

BloggsyJ: Liverpool can turn the tie around but they have to play fantastic fast football and score early on which could rattle PSG. For me it is all about the first 25 minutes. If PSG go in front it will be end of the tie.

The odds are probably against Rio Ngumoha starting against PSG, but most observers would suggest he is contributing more than the subdued Cody Gakpo.

He is a guaranteed star of the future, but will Slot be bold enough to make him a star of Liverpool's present by playing him?

Will they inspire the Class of 2026 to overturn Paris St-Germain's 2-0 first leg lead tonight?
