When Liverpool overcame Barcelona 4-3, we had players missing and Barcelona were formidable with Messi and Suarez. PSG don’t have the same fear factor. I’d argue we have a better starting XI than that night, but our problem is the manager - Slot.

A quarter of the way through this game...

    It's fast and frantic.

Liverpool won't panic just yet especially with the crowd behind them like they are.

But....just the one attempt on target so far.

It's a terrific finish from Ferran Torres but Atletico are their own worst enemies, giving the ball away in central areas. Atletico have gone, they need to sort themselves out.

Good movement. Alexander Isak should see the player in front of him and he should time his run a bit better. He is half a yard offside, but it has just lifted this crowd.

    Up goes the offside flag.

    Ferran Torres (24 mins)

    ALL SQUARE!

Barca slice through Atleti and it's Dani Olmo who slips it through for Ferran Torres. The angle is tight but he drills it into the top corner.

A stunning finish and this stadium is in shock.

So much to admire about the pace with which PSG move the ball around as a side. They've had the bulk of the chances so far and if it carries on like this, it's hard to see them not scoring tonight.

We've not hit the 20 minute mark but PSG have already registered five attempts - two on target. And they're bossing possession.

In what seems like normal protocol for Diego Simeone, he's been told by the forth official to stay in his area. He's practically running up and down the touchline with the linesman.

Six yards out and Ousmane Dembele couldn't keep it down! Dembele missed a glaring opportunity last week. At 3-0, that would put the game out of Liverpool's reach.

Frantic start but PSG are a yard quicker than Liverpool, and look more threatening.

    Steve, Darlington

Can’t make my mind up - is PSG’s composure incredible? As most teams would be nervous when they have to play a second leg away at Anfield. Or is a sign of how toothless Liverpool are and people don’t fear them anymore ?
