    Derby 0-3 Leicester

The heavens have opened at Pride Park and the early noise from the home fans has, understandably, dissipated.

City are still piling on the pressure and the ball breaks to Jannik Vestergaard in the area with a sight of goal, but he does not possess real poacher's instincts and is swiftly crowded out.

  2. 'It's just not going their way'published at 13:11 GMT 6 December 2025

    Derby 0-3 Leicester

    Darren Robinson
Former Derby coach on BBC Radio Derby

It's as though Derby are on a buffer. They play a few passes then buffer and lose the ball.

They're trying to create things but it's just not going their way.

  3. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 13:11 GMT 6 December 2025

    Watford 1-1 Norwich

Giorgi Chakvetadze's first start of the season is over after 38 minutes after he fails to run off that knock to his right knee, Tom Ince replacing him from the bench.

    Derby 0-3 Leicester

Good keeping from City's Jakub Stolarcyk as he races off his line to get a good punch on a Derby set-piece into the box, almost setting Stephy Mavididi away on the counter, before the Rams defence are able to intervene.

As a Leicester fan, this is a breath of fresh air and is a relief after the past few performances. However, the game is still not over.

  6. CLOSE!published at 13:08 GMT 6 December 2025

    Derby 0-3 Leicester

    Much better from Derby.

Patrick Agyemang has already bent one shot too close to Jakub Stolarcyk and now he darts to the near post to meet a low cross from former Foxes man Callum Elder.

The keeper gets down bravely and does just enough to ensure Agyemang pokes past the upright, getting a whack for his trouble.

    Luca Kjerrumgaard (34 mins)

Watford had been threatening and they are now level after a bit of a gift from Vladan Kovacevic in the Norwich goal.

Another corner from the right delivered by Imran Louza is only half cleared to the edge of the box by Norwich where Matt Pollock heads it back goalward.

Kovacevic should have held on to this but inexplicably palms it out straight to Luca Kjerrumgaard on the left side of the area and he heads into an unguarded net.

The fan who required treatment has now been escorted out of the stand. Our thoughts are with them and we wish them a full and speedy recovery.

There was warm applause for the first responders after an announcement on the PA system.

We're awaiting an update as to when the match will recommence.

  9. 'What a difference a week makes'published at 13:05 GMT 6 December 2025

    Derby 0-3 Leicester

    Andrew Aloia
BBC Sport England at Pride Park

Before today, Leicester fans were living in fear of the first-half deluge of goals their side has given up in recent games.

Southampton and Sheffield United managed three each against them in the first 45 minutes in each of the past two games.

Today, it is the Foxes that are doing the damage.

What difference a week in football makes, ey.

  10. 'Zetterstrom can't do anything'published at 13:05 GMT 6 December 2025

    Derby 0-3 Leicester

    Matt Piper
Former Foxes winger on BBC Radio Leicester

It's another outstanding finish, another outstanding ball from Luke Thomas.

Zetterstrom can't do anything, it's great seeing these Rams fans leaving before half-time instead of the Leicester fans.

  11. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 13:04 GMT 6 December 2025

    Derby 0-3 Leicester

Joe Ward so close to pulling one back almost immediately...

A cross from the Rams right sails across the box and rolls into the path of Ward who lashes in a powerful rising strike which Jakub Stolarcyk somehow gets a fingertip on to turn onto the underside of the bar before it bounces out and away.

    Some save.

  12. goal

GOAL: Derby 0-3 Leicesterpublished at 13:01 GMT 6 December 2025

    Jordan James (31 mins)

    Game over?

Jordan James is making himself a cult hero at Leicester.

The ball is pulled back to Luke Thomas just outside the left of the Rams area, he swings in a lovely first-time cross which James attacks in space, leaping to glance home a deft volley past Jacob Widell Zetterstrom.

Derby have no answer to this, and the Foxes look full of confidence.

  13. Postpublished at 12:59 GMT 6 December 2025

    Derby 0-2 Leicester

Jordan Ayew goes down under the attention of Dion Sanderson as they chase a long ball in behind. He appeals for a free-kick but Josh Smith says nothing doing.

Ayew stays on the deck, as Derby play on, and eventually gets up and is booed mercilessly when he picks up the ball, and to the home crowd's delight then concedes a free-kick for handball after putting his hand out to stop the ball after being bundled over.

Derby keeper Jacob Widell Zetterstrom has gone down in need of treatment, which is convenient as it's allowing John Eustace to have an impromptu team meeting... just a coincidence, I'm sure.

  14. YELLOW CARDpublished at 12:58 GMT 6 December 2025

    Watford 0-1 Norwich

A quick break up field for the hosts ends with a clash between Giorgi Chakvetadze and Vladan Kovacevic in the Norwich goal.

The Georgian beat the last defender but his touch was just a little heavy and his lunge to try and nick back control as the Norwich keeper raced out ends with a clash of knees.

There is a bit of treatment for the Watford man who has been out all season with this being a first start of the campaign. After a respectful pause, he gets the all clear and a yellow card.

  15. Postpublished at 12:56 GMT 6 December 2025

    Derby 0-2 Leicester

Derby are clinging on here, Leicester are pushing it forward and wide at every opportunity and winning a series of set-pieces, corners and long throws which Luke Thomas is launching into the mixer with venom.

Really tricky spell for the Rams, this. You feel the game might get away from them.

  16. YELLOW CARDpublished at 12:55 GMT 6 December 2025

    Derby 0-2 Leicester

Josh Smith is having a busy game.

Sondre Langas picks up a caution for a body-check on City's Stephy Mavididi and that's three bookings in quick succession and we're only in the 24th minute.

  17. 'Derby just need to get some sort of organisation'published at 12:54 GMT 6 December 2025

    Derby 0-2 Leicester

    Darren Robinson
Former Derby coach on BBC Radio Derby

Derby are so lucky, they're so relieved the flag went up.

The defenders are defending and the midfield are non-existent, you could park six cars in there.

Derby just need to get some sort of organisation.

  18. Big chance!published at 12:54 GMT 6 December 2025

    Watford 0-1 Norwich

How has that not gone in?

Imran Louza slings it in from a right sided corner, the ball is nodded back into the mixer at the back stick and Matt Pollock goes low to head home from a yard out only for his effort to go back where it came from and off for a goal kick!

That was a great clearing header if it had been at the other end. But it wasn't and it has to go down as an awful miss. Pollock gets a bang on his nose for his troubles too.

  19. DISALLOWED GOALpublished at 12:54 GMT 6 December 2025

    Derby 0-2 Leicester

    Leicester will be fuming.

Jordan Ayew gets ahead of the defence to power home a diving header from the subsequent free-kick. Stunning header. But the flag is up.

    Replays suggest he was level.

League One leaders Cardiff are still 1-0 up against Huddersfield thanks to Yousef Salech's early header.

Bradford had a great chance to take the lead at lowly Plymouth, but Aden Baldwin headed straight at the keeper.

In League Two it's goalless between Colchester and Gillingham... it's not been a classic with neither side testing the goalkeeper.
