That's it for another incident-packed Tuesday night of action in League One and League Two.

There were goals galore in the third tier, including at Huddersfield, where Lincoln came from 2-0 down to draw 2-2.

The Imps extended their lead over second-placed Cardiff, who lost 2-0 to Michael Duff's Wycombe.

Meanwhile, League Two leaders Bromley notched a late winner at Newport to boost their promotion hopes.

    We'll see you again soon!

    Away from the top two...

Peterborough swept aside Rotherham 5-0 - two penalties for David Kamara in the second half helping to make it a real rout.

There were also goals galore at AFC Wimbledon, where Dom Ballard scored his third hat-trick of the season. He now has 21 league goals this campaign as his Leyton Orient side won 4-2.

The crucial survival battle between Blackpool and Port Vale ended 3-2 in favour of the Seasiders, who came from behind twice before scoring a second-half winner. Bottom side Vale need a miracle to stay up.

Another dramatic game came at Kenilworth Road, where Jack Wilshere's Luton beat Matt Taylor's Exeter 3-2.

Lincoln City's late equaliser not only extended their club-record unbeaten run, but it also extended their lead at the top of the third tier.

Cardiff were beaten at home but they still have a healthy cushion over third-placed Bolton.

At the bottom, Port Vale look doomed while Rotherham and Northampton are in trouble.

Blackpool's win, though, keeps things mighty tight between the other relegation candidates.

Win when you're not playing well - that's what makes champions, they say.

Bromley did not play well, Newport deserved at least a point, if not all three, and yet up popped the Ravens to win it in the dying seconds and head back across the country with a five-point lead at the summit.

They will also be buoyed by discovering third-placed Cambridge were held by Walsall, though the chasing pack all won, with the exception of Chesterfield, humbled at home by fast-finishing Oldham who are not out of the race themselves.

Harrogate hauled themselves off the bottom with a stunning win at Tranmere, who are bang in trouble themselves, leaving Barrow at the foot of the EFL tonight after they lost at Salford.

Crawley's point against Barnet lifts them up a place but this relegation battle has all the hallmarks of being one for the ages.

  5. League Two full-timespublished at 22:00 GMT 17 March

There were fewer goals in the fourth tier than the third tonight, but still plenty to talk about nonetheless.

Harrogate were the big winners at the bottom. Opponents Tranmere have been struggling, but few would have had them to lose 3-0.

Notts County had lost three of their previous five, but they breezed past Accrington Stanley 4-0, while Oldham continued their excellent run of form with a 3-0 win at Chesterfield.

    Barnsley 1-1 Wigan

In-form Joe Taylor's goal for Wigan looked like it would be enough for Wigan.

However, Charlie Lennon grabbed a late, late equaliser for the home side with a debut goal for the club.

    Charlie Lennon (90+6 mins)

To cap off a dramatic night in the EFL we have a VERY late goal in our last game.

It's a debut goal for young Tykes forward Charlie Lennon.

Doesn't do much for Barnsley's slim play-off hopes, does do something for Wigan's League One safety hopes.

    FT: Huddersfield 2-2 Lincoln

    Paul Ogden
Huddersfield Town commentator, BBC Radio Leeds

They might not get the result they wanted, but the performance and the tactics have been much better than we have seen of late.

If this is any prelude to the play-offs, I am excited.

    Huddersfield 2-2 Lincoln

There's a reason Lincoln City are top of League One and have not lost in 21 matches.

They do not know when they are beaten.

The Imps were 2-0 down in this one but thanks to Riley Towler's stoppage-time equaliser they have stretched their lead atop League One to five points and remain 15 clear of third-placed Bolton.

Eight games to go and they are closing in on ending their 66-year wait for second-tier football.

    Town slip to seventh.

Grimsby have opened the scoring late at home to Fleetwood.

Jaze Kabia, in the 96th minute, ruins the special day for the now officially permanent Fleetwood gaffer Matt Lawlor.

Grimsby have not lost at home since December - better late than never to score what should be a winner.

    Salford 3-1 Barrow

Salford tighten their grip on a play-off place and remain firmly in the hunt for automatic promotion after a fifth win in six.

They might have been further ahead than 1-0 at the break thanks to Ryan Graydon's finish into the bottom corner, were it not for Wyll Stanway in the Barrow goal.

The Bluebirds improved after the turnaround and were piling on the pressure before Fabio Borini turned home Graydon's cross midway through the second half and, though Danny Rose found the corner to give Barrow hope, Borini pounced on a mistake from Stanway to put the seal on it late on.

With Harrogate winning at Tranmere, Barrow are bottom of the EFL.
